nice piece of kit. Very fadt movement on the reflection mirror, great for demo or instant freebie tags at craft fayres! Could do with carbon filter trap on the exhaust fan to catch fumes! is it strong enough to cut through 3 to 6mm ply? Is it only Android/iPad... No computer software operation?

Yes, it is very nice. The galvo movement creates a very fast and effective. Yes it does emit lots of fumes. You must use their software

Will the laser pecker etch fine silver and gold? How deep is the etching?
@PawPawsWorkShop Жыл бұрын
I have not tried it but is should because the metal is relatively soft. The power and feed rate would control the depth of cut. I would want it to be shallow

Hi Papaw, is it possible to create a laser grit? I mean can you position for example 4 wood clamps on the table at the same time and laser it in one run?
@PawPawsWorkShop2 жыл бұрын
Yes, just create the grid and engrave it. Then put it on a toolpath separate of the project and set it not to engrave. Then you can just drop the project on the grid and engrave

The app is very limited. The preset graphics are limited and I have not found a way to add. The text options also are limited. You can’t us Lightburn which I’m a huge fan of so the short answer is no. I do not like the app because it is so limited
@lukeorgan96052 жыл бұрын
I am loving Lightburn too, does so much and is my go to. I was thinking of getting LP2 to put the same company logo on different products, it will only ever be the same image, so it might work as I won’t be asking much of it.

Fred 2 years ago I had to real Paw Paw in on making videos about his CNC machine videos 🤣. I suggested he title CNC videos with CNC in the title! And he did! As flew folks had CNC machines. I still do not have a CNC machine but I do have a laser engraver and I have learned a lot from Paw Paw about lasers. Ironically my son works for Shop Bot a wood working CNC manufacturing Company. The point of it’s called progress. I think Paw Paw and I have made up over the CNC videos! 🤪 He is a true gentleman, he responds to so many of his followers, and to me that is very important. 😁🛫
