Took me a while to actually appreciate how much was given to me at birth. Took over 25 years. I will never take a single day for granted anymore. It's sad to see some people who have gotten soooo much just bickering over little things and throwing tantrums over spilled milk so to say. You have mad skills! Lots of love from Finland! :)

Love this video mate. I like to think of each day as the sum of all the small moments that happen. What shapes our perception of how “well” the day went is which of those moments we allow ourselves to notice and internalize. That’s why we sometimes feel unhappy, even when our circumstances seem amazing - The negative small moments are often more “in-your-face” and so it’s easier to let them overshadow the positive ones. But all that’s really needed is to allow yourself to notice more of the positive small moments!

Here's a thought ... Happiness doesn't exist, it's a marketing ploy. We are sold happiness as this permanent state that you can achieve and then you will never feel bad again. There is so much pressure to be happy, we see it in TV commercials, posters, social media, movies and even get pressure from our parents who say to us "we just want you to be happy". Which makes us go out and look for this thing that is called "happiness". But it doesn't exist and it never has, life is constant ups and downs and you can never feel good all of the time, what you really want to seek is 'joy'. Joy is a more honest emotion in the sense where we know that the emotion will end at some point and we're ok with that. So in life, don't seek happiness, seek what brings you joy in your life and accept that it's ok to feel bad sometimes.

Well said, enjoy and embrace the feeling, whatever it is.
@whengrapespop57283 ай бұрын
That’s an interesting thought. However, happiness does exist - it’s just often misunderstood; happiness does/should not extinguish sorrow; likewise, sorrow does not (have to) extinguish happiness. Sorrow is good, as long as it ultimately edifies you instead of tearing you down to destruction.

Life is a journey, not a cycle. Moving forward gives the motion of life. Keep climbing that hill, just note the small changes each day within the conversation we have with ourselves. Soon enough, looking back will show you moving forward. I believe, but I understand not having always believed.

I believe that we will never truly, have it all, we just have less pain and more to loose. There will always be a step to improve or a selfless act to compromise. So stop looking for the perfection, life is the energy of the journey. The flow of time in a grace full manner, one purpose to simply be. The best teacher I have learned to follow, someone that will always be there is mother earth, she will always welcome with open arms for you to join her rhythm. She just moves so much slower, its in this the space that life blosoms.

deep inside ourself we have all the answers, that sometimes are just too hard to be heard with all the noise that surround us. overthinking about being happy enough, or not enough, it's something I've also been struggling, like if I should be happy, I should just feel ok 'cause I'm fine, I'm safe, I'm doing what I love for living; but it's not what we SHOULD do or feel about life but HOW we really feel about that the key. no-one of us have the answers to these questions, many has the idea of what we should do or how we should react to this, but deep inside, it's just us, with ourself, feeling happy, guilty, lucky, sad about life. thanks for sharing your thoughts and remembering me I'm not the only one thinking about these. it won't answer but it'll help me to deal with everything.

I remember watching one of your videos. And for some reason I can't get it out of my head. You looked exhausted and said "...and again a day without sleep" because you worked the whole night on a video project. Never I heard from someone working that much and that passionate for his projects. Sometimes I thought Iam lazy, because I am not working trough the night for a project. And then you dare to call yourself "lucky". After grinding trough days, weeks, months and years practicing and learning cinematography and teaching it for free on your KZbin Chanel and inspiring others. You *deserved* it. No matter what the society wants you to think. This wasn't luck, you were driven. Over 90% of the people who live in Norway didn't manage to do what you did. You quit a good working job to take a risk to be a freelancer, because you were driven. Other people would never have thought about it. I accept the fact, that you say you are lucky because you were born in a beautiful country. But please don`t tell people you are "just lucky". You worked your ass off living the life you have now. - inspired creator from germany

Thank you for fleshing out your heart in words with beautiful images and music! If you really boil your reflections down, is the logical conclusion as you say, to think it's all too much, the undeserved jackpot of a privileged life you've got. Or would it be logical if it's logical that there's this God who loves the whole world who chose to show you a small part of His great love this exact way, to bring you to Him so you can get to know Him. He's Father Son and Holy Spirit. And as son he can relate to all human weaknesses.

"What else does this craving, and this helplessness, proclaim but that there was once in man a true happiness, of which all that now remains is the empty print and trace? We gotta remember: "Happiness is relative" If the worst thing thats happened in our life is that our house got bombed or it is that you got heartbroken, it is still the worst thing that have ever happened to you. I can't tell you that heartbroken and a destroyed home is equal, but the feeling could potentially be equal. We are all only humans in the end... Great video btw ;)

if interesting how some people(many people that I know actually) could have that same life of yours and choose not to have it. And at the same time, some people that live in a "not beautiful place" as Norway" have the same exact feeling of luck that you have. What I mean is that you see the world not as it is, but as you are. I'd say you're lucky to not take these things for granted, as anyone living anywhere in the world who have the same way of thinking about life.
