Hey @wildJester i cant connect to my server its says: No Response From Host. i am on game version: 0.6.0.2 and i see in the level map from the server that there isnt the world:diemansland how i need to fix this so i can play on my version, so what i actually ask is can i set my server up to my game version with the map:diemansland on version 0.6.0.2??

Hello, well, the level map likely shown in my video is named Diemensland, that used to be the old map of the game in the previous version of it, but it isn't that one anymore, the current game version has the map named Nullius instead, so your game version has the map/world Nullius I suppose? Anyway, the "No Response From" error may have a few causes behind. Did you notice, by any chance, while trying to connect to your server, if your server window disappears/shuts down after you open it? If so, don't run/open it "as administrator", open it normally and see if it happens again. I also suggest you to try connecting to your server using this code on the in-game command window: connect 127.0.0.1:12871 instead of just connect 127.0.0.1 Try connecting multiple times and see if it finally works, also re-open your server host file window a few times since it may shut down automatically for whatever reason. This is a strange issue that happens for a long time. Hope this helps.

@@WildJester ok thx for the response. so i understand that there is no way that i can make my server version to 0.6.0.2 beacuse i have seen a lot of server still on diemansland. the other thing is i cant run as administrator it automaticly close, but i can open it without administrator. i have portvorwarde the server and with wich ip my friend can join? with the router-ip and than :12871 after that? or with my own dekstop ip?

​@@thenewworld3848 Any videos you saw explaining how to set up servers, still in the older versions and with diemensland, also work the same way for the current game version V2 with the new map - follow the same steps, the server installation is exactly the same :). The files downloaded through the steamcmd program are up-to-date so they work with the actual game version you want. Yes - just open it without running as administrator, so it won't probably close the window much times then. Your friend should be able to join by typing in the in-game console window your public IP and :12871 after that. He should type something like this, for example: connect 98.52.38.224:12871.To find your public IP, go to this site - www.whatismyip.com/ - you see where it says "My Public IPv4 is: xx.xx.xx.xxx"? This is the IP you need - give that IP number to your friend, to type before the :12871.

hey, i need your help, i cant load Workshop mods into my server. I've tried everything but it wont work. i wrote in the autoexec file :loadmod and saved it. When i want to start the server, the server is listed as offline in Hurtworld but to me it says, that it is online. When i'm ingame without any mod loaded and go to the server console and type "loadmod , the following came: Failed to load mod: Gamestate not valid; ClientPlaying. Oxide was no problem, thats installed. I hosted my Server at Nitrado, i dont know if that make any difference...

Hi, even with Oxide/Umod installed, and the server properly set up, maybe there's an issue with the plugin set up. Did you set up yourself as admin? Otherwise, maybe the modders here may help you solving the issue - umod.org/community/hurtworld The hosting service has usually nothing to do with the mod issues you may come across with :). I had often issues to be able to run mods, so I used to avoid using them because I never understand well how to use them besides of modded maps, I am sorry but it was also a long time ago, also the game eventually got updated to V2 as well with Oxide to Umod so I am not sure if some sort of mods incompatibility happened eventually. I hope in the forums there at umod.org people are still midly active and can give you a more correct and helpful answer nonetheless.

For some reason, whenever I type "connect 127.0.0.1" . It tries to connect but it will say " Ignored number of socket connection reset errors: 1" than after that, "No response from host" . Even though I do have the "host" file open...

Hi! That means your server has the autobackup setting enabled to be performed from x to x time, in this case, a short period of time which may be the default. You can try to type the command autobackupinterval into the in-game console and press Enter, and see if that changes the backup frequency. For example, if you want it to perform backups only once per hour, type autobackupinterval 3600 but, if you want it to do it less times, type autobackupinterval 7200 for example, which is equal to 2 hours. A value like 1800 seconds will backup the server every 30 minutes. I haven't tried this command before though, but hopefully it is still working. It is likely you'll need to type this command in the in-game console every time you log back into your server though. I've seen somewhere someone talking about an "autoconfig" file, which can be opened with Notepad and used to add a new code line in there or editing an existing one, which would allow people to type the code autobackupinterval 3600 for example.

Hi. You've just installed your Hurtworld server recently? Try downloading the server files once again through SteamCMD and restart your PC (alternatively). That should be an issue with the game itself since no new updates have been coming out since January, sadly.

That's weird, usually that issue happens when someone doesn't update/re-download the server files once a new patch comes out. Well, a new patch didn't come out yet but try to do it anyway, download your server files from SteamCMD once again, and then try to join

Only if you open your router ports. I show how to do that at the minute 10:30 - but it will only work for your friends to join. For public players to join, of course you had to rent through a hosting service :) Although I've never tried

I wasn't able to put Oxide mod working properly on my dedicated server, so I ended to take a break from trying, lol. Hi. Do you mean whenever you open your server host file, the window shuts down/doesn't remain open, but in the task manager, the server process is still running?It's been a common issue that has been happening for a long time to several people, including me, even though I haven't been using mt server for a good time now, but it happened frequently the last times I've tried to join my server. Sadly, nothing seems to fix this so what you can do is really to avoid running the server host file as administrator, just run it normally (click the host file/open the server) normally and there are less chances of it to close. But I strongly suggest you to, before you open the server file, to first launch/open the game, and type the "connect 127.0.0.1:12871" code on the in-game command window (don't press enter key yet), minimize the game window and open the server host file, then quickly go back to the game and press enter to connect to your server. If this issue with the window shutting down keeps happening, even if you restart your pc, try reinstalling your server or at least close the server process on the task manager and try again a few times.

Oh I see. I'm sorry it hasn't been working out for you in anyway in any pc with windows 10. I'm wondering why since last time I tried, it worked for me with this OS, but I hope that at least it works for you with windows 7 then. I am not sure why this is happening for you. Try opening the host file again and connect to the server. At times, it also requires a few tries until it lets you getting in, after typing the IP address.

You'll need to do the SteamCmd steps once again, so it can download the patch contents into your server and update it. Though, for this specific update, it is required that all the servers needed to be wiped, so you'll need to delete the "autosave..." file from your hurtworld server folder before launching the server, to wipe it

For updating your server, you will need to download the server files from Steamcmd once again (like you did the first time you set up your server) - you don't need to delete any server file from the current folder, but I advice you to make a backup from the following files: autoexec, host and autosave). I explain that at the minute 08:52 as well. After back up those files I mention above, open Steamcmd, type force_install_dir C:\Hurtworld (the name of the folder your current server is + the location), then "Enter", then type login anonymous and "Enter", and type app_update 405100 validate and "Enter". You need to do this everytime a new patch comes out. Sorry for the delay replying!

You'll need to install the Oxide mod in your server, and then install the plugin that will let you change the loot gathering rates. I think is that one called LootConfig. oxidemod.org/plugins/lootconfig.1550/ and the support thread oxidemod.org/threads/lootconfig.25591/ - I've never tried doing that but hopefully you'll find out some help over the Oxide forums. You mean the commands :)? If you can't use them/they're not working, you're not set up properly as an admin. Did you check if everything is well typed on the host file in the Notepad, like I explain on the video? If everything's alright, try to reinstall the server and set up yourself as an admin on the host file again, the dedicated server system sometimes has unknown issues that makes something that was set up properly to not work right.
