This is why I tune in to Ironclad every day! Definitely an audible difference with the stacked four blades. It would be interesting to see the difference between 2blade props and actual 4blade props of the same pitch and dia. (Speed and temps) Keep up the experiments, that was cool Big B. Thanks

Now I know where the old saying "line 'em up like ducks in a row" comes from. Those are some respectful geese! A couple of them got curious and wanted a closer look, but mom quickly got them back in line. I think she told them - "careful now, remember how your uncle got taken out" :) Boat Gang

Another thought: Seriously, you might be actually on to something with your dual prop experiment. Who knows, maybe a whole new prop design. Most of the guys that visit this channel are probably familiar with Thai long-boat props - they're outta this world, and the speeds they reach with such small engines is amazing. I reckon the Thai long-boat racers just kept experimenting until they came up with a prop that works.

Really cool that you've returned to the twin prop experiment! I'm amazed that the second prop stayed in position without a spring washer or loctite! Would you say that with dual props, you've got more traction (better holeshot / more acceleration), but less top speed due to increased friction?
@IRONCLADRC
@IRONCLADRC 2 жыл бұрын
Yes much better low end take off, then it kinda bottoms out on topend speed. I think it's because of the amount of blade surface area in the water not allowing the motor to top out in Rpm? It was actually a fun little experiment

short question? how is it exactly with Pro Boat, do the boats already have grease on the flex shaft when you buy it new or do you still have to do it yourself, so at the beginning before I ride it for the first time? I love your videos keep it up!
@IRONCLADRC
@IRONCLADRC 2 жыл бұрын
Usually proboat boats come GREASE from the factory. It's a good practice to GREASE your boat before each run (every run) that being said you should be able to run your new boat right out the box.. personally I go through my new boats pre run and check grub screws nuts collet grease etc..

I've got plenty videos about run time and battery options for this boat. I like to run a minimum of 6000mah 100c in the v2. Maximum 6s 9500 90c 6s pack with the stock electronics. If you run single 6s pack you'll need a ec5/ic5 jumper.

Pretty sure every human on this planet is after the almighty DOLLAR. I'm not gonna stop running oxiden products just because he rebrands another product, just about EVERY rc boat/car supplier on the market rebrands products, its just the way it is. RCBB is located in Australia I'm in the US. If RCBB sends packages to the US in 1/2 working days then yea I'd consider buying from rcbb but they don't usually 1 to 2 weeks shipping if that. I hate that you feel that way but I'm not gonna stop running Some of my favorite props just because 1 person doesn't like it.
