Two questions: 1. If on team #1 I'm just missing teq ui, should I replace phy Gogeta as well with teq Vegito and str Gogeta? 2. If on the Buu saga team I'm just missing agl and str ssj3 Goku and str Lr Gohan, who can I replace them with?

If you miss teq ui you can just put Piccolo Teq, it works really well with beast and they have a combo super attack together

What does it mean when a character overlaps another in the alts category? Is that an either or kind of thing or is it saying they need to be ran together?

I'm not sure i understand the alts. Can they fill in any of the spots in main lineup? If one is in corner of alt what does that mean?

I think if theres a character in the corner it means those two replace a main rotation, while a solo unit icon represents a possible floater.
