Though you know shows they tend to ignore those small details, just like they did to wolverine with taking his healing factor away, they sure wanted to murder him off badly. hell we don't even get to see Morph and he's one of my favorites.

In X-Men days of future past, Havok can shoot plasma energy blasts using his hands and arms. The only problem I have is that his powers are the same color as Scott Summer's Optic blasts. They should've changed the color of Havok's powers to blue instead of Orange and red to make it comic accurate. In the comics, Havok's plasma energy powers are blue.

Havok is, literally, the same as Cyclops. He just can't focus his powers through a specific part of his body. Where the energy comes from has changed over the years. Originally it was solar energy (Cyclops used to be depicted with his hair glowing whenever he fired his optic blasts and doesn't have a hood covering his hair), but that has been changed a few dozen times. It all depends on who is writing the comics at a given point in time.

At one point Bruce Banner was possessed by 'the One Beneath All' and, therefore, the Hulk was the 2nd most powerful being in the entire Marvel Universe. At one point Wolverine would have a swordfight with the 'Angel of Death' and the outcome of that fight determined whether or not he lived. Not everybody understands this and many people just think the characters are what they are today. There was a time when Thor had to maintain contact with his hammer in order to actually be Thor. If he lost it for more than a minute he would revert back to Dr. Donald Blake and become a regular human. Thor also, as Thor, routinely got his butt handed to him by people like the Absorbing Man. In fact, the Avengers were formed to fight the Hulk (who was under Loki's control) because, essentially, Thor couldn't beat him on his own. And Captain America is not an original Avenger, they found him frozen in ice later on (the original Avengers were Iron Man, Thor, Ant Man and the Wasp with the Hulk joining up after he shook off Loki's control). Marvel just makes stuff up as they go along. Not saying that DC is any better.

Fun Fact: Cyclops is the oldest of the Summers, Havok is the Middle Child. Wait till u see Vulcan, the youngest of the Summer Brothers. Hes a badass villain with powers within Omega Level and also probably within the top 20 of all Xmen Villains

Imagine if Havok could perform Plasma Energy Manipulation (being able to Create and Control Plasma Energy), he would be able to control his Plasma Energy in a way similar to MCU Dr. Strange (Eldrich Energy Manipulation) and Scarlet Witch (Chaos Energy Manipulation). This would make an interesting manipulation battle with Riptide (Air/Wind Manipulation) in 1st Class film.

Alex/Havok was one of my favourite characters in the franchise. I’m kinda glad they waited to introduce Scott much later. I’m pissed that they killed him off Also too bad they couldn’t introduce their older brother Gabriel/Vulcan, but he’s probably wayyyy too op to have and he’s a giant psychopathic dick. He has the combined powers of Alex and Scott but he can control his, he also has energy absorption and redistribution, he can fly, create force field, self sustenance and limited regeneration, limited super power replication/repression and can resist psionics meaning he can’t controlled or manipulated by Prof. X or Jean. Yeah this dude could fuck up Magneto, Apocalypse and Shaw
