Andrew is a truly special guy. The kids have an exceptional rolemodel to aspire to be like or, in Scout's case, to seek out. I'm sure life isn't always perfect, but having watched this family grow since Elvis was a baby, it is so nice to see such a well-rounded, strong family. Andrew, you're amazing!

Thank you Andrew for the fantastic garden tour. I feel like I got so much insight into the work that goes into a beautiful fruitful tropical garden. I thought you were just buying all the bananas you could find everywhere like you were filthy rich and here you are just growing them endlessly in your backyard. So amazing how they will just keep going like that, Lord willing. Banana icecream forever!

Well you could spend much less and live in asia with a similar build/lifestyle? I paid $100/sqm for a similar plot of land in the mountains near a city. I'm building a house atm it'll cost around $120k-150k and 5BR, 3 bath + solar panels and it's 30-40 mins by car going to the beach.

The deer…the bane of gardeners everywhere. Might want to look into motion activated deer sprinklers. Can either use hoses or have the lines placed in ground. Place around your perimeter and the deer learn very quickly where the boundary is. Have used for years and it’s the only way I’ve been able to have any kind of garden.

Love this video💜! I didn't know Breadfruit grew in Hawaii. Here in Jamaica we eat Breadfruit boiled, roasted or fried. U can roast it whole, with the stem removed, in the oven at 350° for an hour or on an open flame until the skin turns black and charred (my fave way as it has a smoky flavour). We usually slice the leftovers thinly and fry them up to have with breakfast the next day 😋 yumm! Sorry your Jackfruit tree died😞 u should plant another one! I'd love to see the meals you'd use it in 🙃

My kids and i watching this wishing we could grow our own bananas!! 🍌 We go through a 40lb box every 2 weeks which costs us about $730 a year 😅 but this past year i discovered a store that sells Organic Bananas for $8 per 40lb box versus the $28 we pay per 40lb box normally 🤲🏼 so that has cut our costs significantly!! We buy 3 boxes at a time, let them ripen then stash in our deep freezer and use strictly for smoothies. Then i buy every two weeks for fresh eating.
