Early dawn mission on Hawaii Island's east side. The surf was forecasted to be 1-2 feet, but when we got out there it was definitely much bigger. Luckily, the wind was very mellow and it was just glassy rolling swell. We decided to stick it out and had pretty decent action. When the wind flipped at 10am and whitecaps started tipping some of the swells, we knew it was time to head home.
