We call them spinner sharks here in NC - see them a bit but in the fall you’ll see them a lot skying on the bait balls. That’s run was a heck of a run didn’t think that fish was gonna tire before you got spooled! Cheers man

Congratulations! You had an interesting day of fishing. What is the function of the balloon in your fishing arrangement? and how do you do it? It's the first time I've seen it.

Thanks! Was a great day on the water for sure! The balloon keeps one bait really high in the water and far away so I can run a second bait deeper right under the kayak and they don't tangle. I just got a fishing balloon kit from Amazon and rubber band the balloon to my line 20 feet above the bait.
