Oooh, I remember camping there as a young child but never hearing any unusual sounds. I remember seeing Mr. Ka'apu in his red malo cleaning the area.

Yes that is Old Man Ka’apu my OHANA he Owned All that Ahupua’a/ Right next to my Grandmother’s Ahupua’a Puhe’emiki

What about the story of China man hat? I myself experience things while living on beach. Camp 5-6 by the pond? The lady in white dress haku around her head. Bathroom by the beach. Or seeing a canoe with the king and the men paddling inwards. By the pond hearing a baby crying in the pond n how the sound got closer and went up on my tent? I seen alot of black shadows in the trees going behind whea they fine bones. Kinda curious. K Aloha.

I am from Punalu’u Oahu my Grandmother was the Last overseer of PUHE’EMIKI AHUPUA’A/ Malia PAIA AHUNA ~ Then The Illegal Territory of Hawai’i STOLE ALMOST ALL OF IT- Selling To Catholic Church/ Mormon Church/ Kahuku Plantation/ & Numerous Chinese / We only were Left with 5 Parcels because we had Shacks on top. 😭😮‍💨😩 I now Live in Kona/ if You Ever Come here I have a Couple Places to Share With You. I have heard 2 Little children Laughing at me when I gave a Ho’okupu to There leftover House Foundation at Waiwailole Beach. There is So So Much going On Most are Not aware of……. Momi Greene Keahole
