Hawaii Trip Day 2 | Hideaway Beach & Hanalei bay

Hanalei Bay was one of our favorite memories from our trip to Hawaii. The water was so shallow that we could walk out and just relax and enjoy the ocean. The children loved it and still talk about it often. If you visit Kauai then you should take the time to go to this beach. We went in the evening after dinner so there was no one else really around and it was perfect! So don't think that you need to head to the beach in the peak of the day because YOU DON'T. It will be so much more enjoyable if it's not packed with people.

Yeah, good thing you scouted out Hideaway Beach! Looks beautiful, but I was thinking there has to be another beach with easy access, especially for the kiddos!

Yes there were definitely other options for the kids, but we could not resist a hike.
