HAWAII VLOG| FIRST TIME IN HAWAII | OAHU, LEONARD'S BAKERY, ZIPPY'S, LU'UA| MARRIOTT KO'OLINA

ALOHAAAAA!!!!!!! I'm beyond blessed to say that I was able to spend the end of June in Oahu, Hawaii with my family at the Marriott's Ko Olina Beach Club! There, we traveled around Honolulu, Waikiki, and Ko Olina! Check out this video to see the amazing time we had which includes visiting the Aulani Resort, Leonard's Bakery, Pearl Harbor, Waiola Shave Ice, Ala Moana Center, and more! Eggs'n Things in Ko Olina (BEST pancakes I've EVER HAD! GOOOO TRY THIS PLACE! Especially at this location! Shoutout to the host and our waitress for making it such an inviting and great experience for us!)
YogurStory in Honolulu (prepare for a wait)
Zippy's in Kapolei (I HIGHLY recommend eating here! Not for take out, but definitely in person!)
Makahiki at the Aulani Resort in Ko Olina (the omlettes were okay but everything else was great)
Longhi's in Ko Olina (excellent)
Waiola Shave Ice in Honolulu (BEST shave ice I've EVER had!)
Leonard's Bakery (prepare for a wait)
Monkeypod Kitchen in Ko Olina (if you go later in the day, PREPARE for a wait)
Longboards at the Marriott's Ko Olina Beach Club (basic stuff on the resort's property)
Island Country Markets by ABC Stores had good poke!
Poke&Box at the Ala Moana Center (DELICIOUS)

Enjoyed your video.. because you were on the west side, you didn't do any cruising to the windward or north sides? In Hawaii, shave ice is spoken and written in the present tense... So there is no 'd'. On the Big Island (aka Hawaii island), the local people there say it as Ice Shave. Glad you went to the original location Waiola Shave Ice! So happy you loved our Zippy's.. it started back in 1966 and is cherished by us local people. All here on Oahu with one on Maui and another on the Big Island in Hilo. Did you try eating spam musubis? Hi! Unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to explore more of Oahu due to running out of time 😞 (I REALLY wanted to check out some of the beautiful beaches and the north side). In regards to the shave ice, I kept forgetting that it wasn’t pronounced “shaved” 🤣. We’re from Illinois so there definitely aren’t any places like Waiola around here 💔. I fell in LOVE with Zippy’s and still can’t stop thinking about it. I did try spam musubis and they were pretty good! I was going to put a clip of me trying it in the video, but, I looked crazy 🤣. The ube pancakes were….interesting. I definitely wouldn’t have them again but honestly, I rate them a 6/10! In regards to other pancakes, I highly suggest the restaurant Eggs’n Things. I’m not sure if they had ube pancakes, but their strawberry pancakes were the BEST pancakes I’ve ever had.

What I got was fresh, delicious, and filling 💁🏽‍♀️. I can’t speak on anything other than what I tried and the location I went to. I do have to say that it tasted way better eating it inside the restaurant rather than getting it as takeout- that applies to mostly every restaurant though. The price for my meal was also normal to me. Only around $12-13.
