People used to ask me why I always have to fly 1st class to Hawaii. Here's the thing. It's an all-day trip, and the day you arrive in Hawaii counts as the 1st one. Way I see it, the flight should be part of the vacation when it's such a long one. HA 1st class really delivers in providing Polynesian pleasure while you are so severely confined. To me it's worth it to scrimp on other things to allow for this. If it's worth it to someone, it's worth it. To each his own.

We fly first class every year to Honolulu/Kauai. I agree with you, travel days should also be vacation days as much as possible, that's why we choose to spend more. However, how much you spend depends on how willing you are to start early (in the Fall) checking prices regularly. We always catch the cheapest fare by checking briefly every evening starting in November for a trip the following summer. Same with the resort we stay at - around Thanksgiving when we booked, I got a pop-up saying that we were getting an additional 5% off: Black Friday Special!

That whole plane needs to be thoroughly cleaned. Has dirt and dust in between knobs and buttons. Thanks for the upload though, as I wanted to see if First Class was worth the extra money. I was born in Kailua, so I have to revisit!!!

Great review as someone with wider hips i don't understand why they do make it where the arm rests don't get up instead it's plastic and less comfortable. I'm trying to see if it's really worth the price

thanks for watching yes you are absolutely right with the armrest. If you book early and got a lower price it is a good deal but if its over a thousand dollars, maybe its not.

FOOD! What a joke. $5 of simple everyday stuff. Omelette? , cuts of raw fruit. Safeway day old soggy croissant not even as good as Costco, not even baked up crisp and warm, undercooked sausage room temperature, plain Colliflower? Smuckers Jam? Hawaiian needs to review FIRST CLASS served on other airlines and Learn. Hint. Serve Local made natural Hawaiian fruit spreads. Lilikoi, Guava, Passionfruit for example. Ramp up HAWAII in the food. Try 100% Kona Coffee. print a coster saying that under the cup.

Pineapple plantation is one of the agricultural industries in Hawaii. It was not originally from Hawaii but imported to the island long time ago. Right now pineapple plantation is still cultivated on the island but it is not a big of an industry or export as long time ago. That is the reason why when you think of Hawaii, one thing that will come to mind is pineapple.

Mahalo for the Colonization history of how pineapples landed in Hawaiʻi. But, it is not our stable, it is not from Hawaiʻi and it is not what makes Hawaiʻi. If you want to portray something of Hawaiʻi use a fruit that actually comes from our islands such as Guava. Pineapple was introduced to our islands in the early 1900’s by settlers. Pineapples is not a Hawaiian fruit period… it tastes good but, not from Hawaiʻi

I know your not Hawaiian Airlines because Hawaiian Airlines would know better not to say “Pineapple is a part of Hawaiʻi” if your gonna do a blog or post on something that is Hawaiian or from Hawaiʻi than you need to brush up before you adverītise or promote something on you blog pertaining to Hawaiʻi that is incorrect information. Because if I were to share this video with our Hawaiian community they would blow up your feeds in telling you to “Learn the Hawaiian culture before making up your own thoughts!” Just because the pineapple plantarions that came here to our islands it is not a Hawaiʻi or Hawaiian fruit! It will cost you an extra betweel 300-600 dollars depending on the time. Is it worth it? It depends but going to hawaiii is only 5 hrs you can do it without flying Hawaiian first. However if you get a chance to fly first with United (find the video in my channel) that is a better option. It has better seats and better food. I hope you subscribed to my channel.

Sometimes you can catch first class from the west coast for 40k Hawaiian miles or 45k JetBlue miles. Makes it a pretty good deal
