Hawaiian Lauhala Fan Weaving- Peahi

Today has ben really hot!! Instead of making another lauhala bracelet, we are going to make a fan to beat the heat. Join us as we weave a fan (pehai) using 6 strands of 1 inch lauhala leave and a 1 inch bamboo stick for the spine. I also demonstrate a 4 strand lauhala braid around the handle.
