Interesting how lua has common ideas with tai chi. It also has duality in yin/yang and was a real martial arts back in the day but is now mostly a health and healing exercise.

In 2012, at the gift shop of the Honolulu Bishop Museum, I saw in a glass display case an accurate reproduction of an ancient Hawaiian stone head club (actually a mace), called in Hawaiian, 'newa'. The asking price was a staggering $600. I wondered who would foot the money to purchase the club. I would loved to have owned it but $600 was very hard to find in my pocket.

Lua has another meaning, “The Pit” where you would leave your excretion in the back of the Hale. In Lua your goal was to treat your opponent like food, your opponent attacks you (feeds you) you angle off their attack and get in close (eat your opponent), break their body down (digest them), then once broken and dismantled, you put them to the ground, and kill them (excreting them out into the pit), moved down the battle field and repeated this process. The Pit you excrete in is where the toilet meaning comes from. Just inform the Hawaiians that they're wrong about your son’s name and there’s more then one meaning for Lua which means Two or dual, which they should know already.

@@ikaikakukaniloko3416 I saw one of the chants in the Lua book by Bishop Museum. "Little hole" To the OP, those "Hawaiians" making fun of your son's name are ignorant.
