These people not only know art but know how to display it properly. Making sure the construction methods and finishes in the rooms is up to par with the art is one place people normally fall short. Not these people. Another mistake people make is to overcrowd a collection like this but this collection has found that perfect balance of filling your eyes and overwhelming your senses while not looking like it is haphazard or out of place. That is one of the most beautifully displayed eclectic collections of art and antiquities I have ever seen in a home. So sad they had to sell and remove it all because the entire home with the art as they placed it is a work of art in itself.

It's one of those homes where even if something wasnt to your particular taste it would be hard to change it knowing the craftsmanship that went into building it. Love the lot, wish you would have had more time to tour the grounds, they looked beautiful from the glances we got!

$7.250 million as of 9/9/22. I absolutely LOVE the Library/Study ( I am a Bibliophile!😉) and would put those bookcases to good use. The landscaping of this property is breathtaking & the only thing I would change would be an expansion of the PV System to include enough LiFePO to take the property off the grid & handle an extended rain "outage." The eclectic style of the fixures & finishes is...interesting to say the least; I've literally travelled around the world in my naval career & I imagine that the owners had similiar experiences. Love your presentation, Mike, you've done justice to one sweet estate.

I think you're right. I don't think this could be rebuilt, including the site work (the entire 5 acres is fenced in a lava rock wall, plus the rock wall work on the pad) for the current list price.

Gaudy, garish are words that come to mind. So many different types of art and objects that just clash...Seems like a rich dude with bad taste spent a lifetime collecting anything he saw at garage sales, tourist trap markets, etc. Might just be the ugliest god damn house Ive ever seen in my life
