I just witnessed a miracle. My best friend in the whole world became critically ill and put in an induced coma unexpected to survive. Things kept going from bad to worse. We had over 100 people praying for her and finally just turned it over completely to God for His will to be done whatever it was. The next day she turned the corner and yesterday I was able to talk to her with her awake and alert. Still a long road ahead but looks like she will be ok. He STILL DOES MIRACLES!

When my mom was pregnant with me, she had a bad bleeding spell. The doctors told my mom that she lost me. However, they called her up to tell her to come in. Turns out that I was still alive in the womb. After I was born, she was then told I wasn’t going to function normally and wouldn’t be able to make it in society (I would be diagnosed with a high-functioning form of autism at the age of ten). She didn’t listen to them, and I just graduated high school on the honor roll. I’m going to head to a college halfway across the country in August to major in Special Education with a music minor (as a violinist) so I can help special needs kids overcome their trials. My mom still calls me a miracle constantly. I always shrug it off, but sometimes I have this feeling that she’s right. God still does miracles, and I guess I’m living proof of such.

I went through a time in my life where I thought not even the bible or even God could help me. What happened was I lost sight for just a moment and then failed to realize I was slowly drifting away. About a year and a half after losing sight, I was just about at a breaking point that I don't know if I would have returned from. The best Christian song I hear on radio today and the Hawk Nelson song that speaks to me most! My dad recently had open heart surgery and it was perhaps the most anxious time of my life; the fear that I could lose my dad was so overwhelming that I could hardly contain my anxiety. So I prayed and prayed that God would work His miracles on dad in the time building up to surgery and during the operation. Surely enough, he survived and has since recovered excellently! This song has since been my celebration song for this victory in my dad's life as well as a reminder that God has been working miracles through this situation. I am a walking miracle. Not only do I have complex ptsd from many traumas, but I’ve stated death in the face, twice and make it out alive, only by the Grace of God. The first one was being held up at gunpoint by a serial killer and the second time it was bc my ex boyfriend threw me to the concrete and tried to beat and strangle me to death, and every dr in the ER was amazed I was alive. My face was broken in 3 places, needing facial reconstructive surgery along with many more serious injuries. His handprint was left on my throat with a dark purple bruise. And even before any of those events happened I grew up with constant abuse in every form. Jesus heard my cry over a year ago and I have been rescued and healed from things I didn’t think possible! Thank you, Lord! I pray to one day be able to help others trapped in the darkness by showing them the light found in Christ!
