I really hope this season brings out the best of hawk. And not let him get toasted this easily. The reason why we haven't seen hawk preform any big feats is because we haven't seen him get into a fight that push him to be at his best since season 4 when he went up against Miguel and Robby and showed that he can rival thwm in skill. Since then he's mainly gone up against people that he would want to go easy on or randoms so he hasn't had many really good showings but everyone still acknowledges him as one of the best and in this upcoming tournament he will be tested for real.

Why does everyone give travel speed to Kwon? I know he looks fast but he hasn't had any showings of running speed. Hawk has at least shown that he can rival the fastest student in Miyagi fang (Kenny) in speed while running. too much speculation. We only saw Kwon in one fight vs 3 dudes who we honestly have no clue how good they were. Kim Da Eun thought fairly highly of one of them, I guess that counts for something. But Hawk, Robby, and Miguel are pretty good. I think they are going to go with the classic playout of Kwon initially beating Robby pretty bad, and either he's too injured to fight, so Miguel or Hawk step in, or Robby mans up.
