I honestly think that this is the Optic that the Legend and straight wall guys have been waiting for. I Love that Reticle could do without Illumination but a lot of Guys like that a lot. It’s less than a lb so the AR guys will love it.

Nice review Joe. Honest as always. Been playing with a Athlon Helos BTR gen 2 on a Q Fix 8.6 blackout. The 8 inch barrel gun is a badass and the Athlon punches well out of its price range.

Been looking at getting a 450 bushmaster rifle. I have a Hawke 4x12x40mm AO. The Vantage IR reticle 17 hmr scope. On my 17 hmr rifle . I like it for sure. They have a 22 mag model to. I'm planning on buying one.

I broke 4 hawke sidewinder 30’s on my 300 win mag in one season about ten years ago. It was advertised as spring airgun rated so I thought for sure it could handle my win mag with a big ass Kahntrol brake on it. It had felt recoil of a 243 and still took out those optics. The new one must be a lot better. The glass was nice but durability was not was I was expecting.

Hey Joe, I know this video is about straight wall cartridges😮 However, my question is about the .308 Win. The Hawke Vantage 30, 4-12 scope and the Leupold VX-Freedom are about in the same price range. Use is going to be Hunting and Target Practice, 50 - 200 yards. I have a few Leupolds, but Hawke 30mm tube sounds interesting, specs indicate a good field-of-view... Your opinion would be Greatly Appreciated... Sorry to break topic... all the calibers listed have different ballistics. How are those points on for all of the loads and calibers? I have the leupold vx freedom for the 350 legend.Its dead on out to 300 yrds with the 150grn copper impacts. If i want to change loads i just call and get a free turret for what im gonna shoot. I like how hawke has the chart on the side.

Get a Hawke Vantage 2-7x32 without adjustable ojective. Put it on 2x or 2.5x and you are good to go for hunting deer sized creatures anywhere from 15-300 yards. Set it on 4x and do some recreational or varmint shooting 30-150 yards. Set it on 6x and do target shooting 75-125 yards

@CyclopsJoeVideos Thank you! on some forums it says that it is the screw to remove the nitrogen from the scope. Is this true? I loosened it a little because I thought it was for the tension of the zoom ring but I tightened it back. I'm afraid that the scope has suffered damage.
