Remember back in the 60s and 70s driving by this house,and slowly watching it go backwards to this state feeling more heartbreaking as the year's went by,and wondered about the elderly couple,or their children and grandchildren, thinking,such a shame this little beautiful home wasnt kept up with,Good to see part of the family that lived there, I don't need to wonder anymore, thank you ladies, you've brought closure to my wondering who the family was that lived there, I knew there would have been lot's of LOVE in that' homes,AROHA NUI

I pass by this house quite often heading to Hastings. Seen many people taking photographs of it. Set back from the road about 200m it's nice to finally see it up close.
