Nice stuff Alex, I was up at Yarrawonga over winter and caught a few smaller models, but the yellow belly were of good size so we're the carp lol you always seem to do well and not just the fishing, the scenery is great👍

Thanks mate! Very different fishery down at yarrawonga, possibility of some very large fish but seems to be tons of the smaller models around. In winter its a good effort getting on to any cod imo

God damn, y'all. I ❤️ how thick those cod are across the back. I did try one in a restaurant in Mildura, last time I was down under for work. It was farmed near there on a rice farm. Wasn't the best eating fish I ever had but decent, but then I didn't like Barra either when I had it in Cairns. The croc on the other hand was disgusting. Your aborigines can have them. Buff burger was amazing tho.

Thanks mate! I haven't actually tried eating cod before but I reckon they would taste better out of a river than a farmed fish.

Unfortunately this cod season has been very slow compared to last year, last year you would of caught 3 times the amount for the water you covered. Try the other river nearby that runs into it next time.

Which river?

Yeah I haven't been up at the best times yet this season but its definitely slower than last year was. Putting it down to how dry it was through spring this year
