Hawkeye easily made it into my top two with WandaVision. I had a good time watching it. I can't wait to see more of Hailee, Florence, and Alaqua in the MCU. Sidenote: Tasha, I am living for your hair!

According to Vincent D'Onofrio, it's the same canon as the Netflix show. He said Kingpin survived the Snap, but lost a lot of his hold on NYC during those 5 years & now he's trying to regain control.

I think if I remember from the Daredevil series, his clothing including his suits are made of some sort of special armor cause i remember Daredevil looked for the guy that made the suits and made a deal with him to create his Daredevil suit out of the same material. The Hawaiian shirt is from the comics. I read a few interviews with the actor and he said they pulled what they could from the Netflix series in regard to specifically his character but fans of that show will realized he’s different due to the enhanced strength. He’s great at dodging leading questions lol.

16:26 Kingpin is one of the only normal people to fight Captain America to a standstill. His clothes are usually lined with kevlar but his real strength is how much muscle mass he built over the years. So even if he were shot in the body with an arrow or a bullet the impact would only leave a flesh wound. And he spars with 5 martial arts masters at the same time on the regular.

Love y’alls reaction. Your post show discussions are super entertaining, so bravo to both of you and this show. Hawkeye was another great series. I’m sad it’s over. In place of the end credit scene, they gave us Echo shooting Kingpin in the face, which is part of her comic origin. That’s gonna nice us a nice lead in to her solo series. I’m hoping we get a Hawkeye season 2 or young Avengers series with Clint as their mentor. That will give him an opportunity to officially pass the Hawkeye mantle to Kate. Don’t let the smooth taste fool you with Jack. Swordsman is very likable on this show but he isn’t totally innocent. He attended an illegal black market auction attempting to obtain stolen avengers tech/weaponry. He can bend the rules when it suits him. I hope we see him and the LARPers again.

The straight out of the comics point blank shot to the face Kingpin revived from by Echo was brilliant. He survives but is blind for a while. D’Onofrio said in a. Interview this week he is not a variant of his character, and the Netflix material is in fact who he is playing now, not a soft reboot. Echo’s series does not start until 2023. Hopefully we’ll see Kingpin (and Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock/Daredevil) sooner than that in Armor Wars or some other film/tv product.

I'm thinking for the next Avengers, timewise yes, 2+ hours, character wise they need to assemble the main 5 or 6, then by the time the third or fourth Avengers then we have an army of characters in the fight. Like first Avengers we had Iron Man, Thor, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Hulk and of course Captain America. Plus Fury, Hill and all other supporting cast.

For those who don’t know and think Spider-Man and this take place at the same time, they don’t hawkeye takes place a year after endgame that takes place in 2024 and Spider-Man takes place a couple months after endgame. Broadway productions stay on broadway for 9 months to 10 years btw
