oh man....i don't have many words to say but this video is absolutely so lovely and gorgeous and the timing is just??? PERFECT AND FLAWLESS AND I SERIOUSLY APPRECIATE YOU MAKING THIS. this was an absolute amazing video to watch - been watching it on repeat. Great scenes, it fit the music and everything and you weaved together an excellent story :D

back to this after a few years and honestly i am still so shocked how NOT RECOGNIZED this edit is like IT'S CRAZY because i saw this and RUN to read hawkeye and i've watched this edit so so so many times i know it by heart and it's my forever fav comics purely because of this montage. the music choice is so fitting, i listened to it so many times, there hasn't been a time when if i mentioned the hawkeye comic i didn't follow with this edit right after. So thank you for this tribiut and introducing me to the story and the character and just for making this beat to beat montage, great work!!!!

This is amazing. Totally on-point with the Hawkeye(s) series by Fraction and Aja, the timing is incredible, and I went and bought this song like 20 seconds after I finished the video the first time. You have serious skills - the part starting at 1:20 with the shot-by-shot of shooting the window and it shattering gave me CHILLS. Hell Yeah.

i am not really familar with the source (saw a bit about it on tumblr but have never read an issue) i love the song (i am going to add it to my music libary).i have never heard it before but it fits very good with the visuals/theme. its determinded, angry in the keep on fighting way. i love how you work with the bubbles of text. appearing and fitting to the lyrics and never to much that you cant finish reading them And I'm going to fight for this four square feet of land like a mean old son of a bitch" both because it remainds me of the misfit album my mom had and i played and screamed along to in my childhood (still do) but also because it takes such small ambitions. its (just) this block and its hard (anyway). but if you do your best it means something anyway. i love the panels of the roof "partys" (specialy the one near the end where everyone raise their fists - what a powerful image) and the christmas one - and the general idea in this video to do it together. to become better people through eachother. the best people i know looking out for me" makes me a little teary i love that kate is his future. that she too fights with her demons but keeps on figthing the good fight too i love the repeating image of the archery training sorry for this messy comment. english isnt my first language and i am not very great at expressing myself in general. #be the hero that your world needs #because we would want to be good people
