Welcome back to my second episode and more thorough review of the new Open Beta for Fishing Planet! In this episode, I will discuss my problems with the Beta, mostly being the balance of the money involved in traveling, and what is earned from fishing. Then, we will get down and dirty with the hows and wheres to catch and grind bass for XP and cash!

Sure, no problem. I love to fish IRL too, but due to my wife's health I can't get out very much any more. Most of the time, this is a close as I can get! I plan (lord willin' and the crick don't rise) to go out this spring and summer to do some night fishing is my wife is up to it! I have fished for just about everything you can catch in the midwest, but catfishing is nearest and dearest to my heart! (and my stomach)

Yeah, I caught a couple of really good ones there! It is always difficult to catch that trophy unless you have larger bait and hooks!

Hawkeye M I know. I think the best large mouth bass I've ever caught was I think a 2 pounder as well

I hope so man! This game has a lot of potential, but I am afraid if it isn't balanced out, they are going to lose a lot of their followers, both new and old!

Lone star lake is great for starting cause spotted bass give good exp and money

Yeah, I agree with you. It just doesn't make any sense. If you go to a lake where that is charging you to travel and by the day, you would think the largemouth bass would bring in more cash! (At least double)

Mudwater SUCKS! My best money fishing spot right now is North Carolina. Bass for days, and if you have the gear, catfish and gar are endless there. Got 30k with premium on a 4 day trip, which only cost me around 5k for traveling.

Yeah, I agree. Mudwater needs some serious tweaking considering the traveling costs. Most new players would be better off staying at Lone Star until they get enough levels to go to Neherrin River. I have issues with Emerald Lake, NY and Rocky Lake, Colorado as well. Too expensive for travel, not enough money for the fish, and the fish just don't bite like they used to in those locations unless you have higher level gear.

To be honest hawk I think this game is gonna die if they don't change this. The game has become very pay to win. Having to have a premium account to play with mates is bullshit.

you can still join each other they just want people not to make so many solo session so they mad people with premium can only make solo and friends only but you still can join your friends

this game is not even close to pay to win. you can unlock just about everything via lvl up. only a few thing you have to pay for and you don't even need that stuff. also the fish hut baskets suck go with stringers. the grinding does suck and the fact they make a bass worth more than a catfish when it's the other way around in the real world is stupid.
