Awesome video! I love catfish, mainly for eating... it doesn't really matter to me if it's blue or yellow catfish, I love 'em! Living here in Louisiana, people grow a lot of rice, and I've found that if you drop your line right where the water line is pumping out the water from the rice fields, you are likely to catch a lot of fish! I and a friend of mine went fishing at such a location (right at dusk in the summer) and no sooner than our bait hit the water, we pulled up a 25 lb. yellow catfish... actually it snapped the line and my friend had to jump in the small canal to grab it before it got away! Talk about some good eating! Anyway, thank you so very much for sharing your expert advice! :)

I caught a Pike and a crappie after 9pm in NY. Pike was at ~11pm and the crappie was about 0230am, both on artificials. Maybe they have not done it in Lone Star as it is the free lake?
