Cool video! Hey what spot would you suggest for a family of 5 (3 teen boys) to come down and stay with decent 'from shore' fishing and a close by charter option. Also, bonus points if it makes the boss lady happy with resort style amenities. The from shore part is because one of my kids wants to fish 24/7 so he can walk from the room and catch snapper, parrot, cudas, grunts or whatever. I haven't been down in 30 years sadly.

Oh wow, that's a tough one! There are so many options down here that fit all of that criteria! Since you mentioned "resort" I'm guessing you want a hotel style place rather than renting a home? If so, Isla Bella is wonderful, with on site charter boats. Just about any place on the water here will have places to fish from shore and there is almost always good snapper fishing around the shorelines almost everywhere here. I would just do some Google searches on places down here and check it out from aerial views you can tell a lot about water access from that.

Nope, not running charters any longer, but a good friend of mine runs a charter business and he is a great guy and terrific fisherman, Joel Brandenburg Ana Banana Charters in Marathon, he's got three different boats depending on what you want to do....give Joel a call!
