Did you have to modify the transmission tunnel to fit the 6l80e in the tunnel of the camaro? I have a 87 4dr cutlass.

My guy I came across a gen 4 L96 w/ 6l80e am trying to put this setup in my 05 Tahoe Gen 3 I got the control for the 58x-24x but as far as that am still trying to wrap on how to make the 6l80e work do you got any pointers? Thanks man

Hi,when you mentioned massaged trans tunnel could you please elaborate cut/fabricate/weld or some hammer work o ly,currently doing a ls3 4l60 swap into a 87 iroc using all Holley blackheart components, motor/tranny mounts,la swap headers and holley tru duals,would love to run the 6l80,did you fab your own tranny mount,thank you.

Doing a 6l80 swap in my gutted 80 Malibu. Chose 3.40 gear based off my silverado with 6l80. Should be a whole lot of fun. Hopefully by the end of the summer it’s together and moving under its own power.

@@DillardTuned In regards to the cross member and 6l80??? I don’t them both and changed to BMR… either way I was just poking at you bro no hate… check out my genV LT swap though with “6L80” 😁 TSP stage 3 cam a few little things I can afford… Salute 🤜🏾
