I knew someone would make a vid on this. I also thought the same about the recoil reduction part when I initially used it a few days ago when the update came out for Global. Although we lose the zoom, it's worth it if you want to FEEL less recoil while it’s the same recoil.

ive always been an extremely high sensitivity person on any cod now when i tried the sync ads to fov i found my sensitivity to be slow even tho everything was at 280 to 300 sens and also had 90 fov so i found that the link sensitivity to resolution setting increased my sensitivity significantly . initially when link sens to res setting was introduced it made my sensitivity extremely hard to control since my sensitivity was already high so it might be a good idea to combine both since thats the only way i can use it properly though its only for high sense players

As a respawn sniper, in ranked this setting is goated, there so many times now that I wouldn't have been able to see an opponent without this setting, I've actually noticed the placebo effect working quite a bit, I managed to get shots that I wouldn't even think possible, and this is with the Koshka or xpr, I also use the dlq but it doesn't have the great feeling of the Koshka or the versatility of the xpr fast ads and attack speed

Placebo effect made me laugh, because I play battle royale sometimes, and the time I tried sniping with this setting ON I got more headshots than with normal FoV, even if the enemy looked smaller, and for mid-close range fights I also got some "lucky" headshots. I'm liking this

That is a great video, congratulations! I ended up with the same conclussion: this setting is only "good" for short ranges and close quarters fights when you want to jump targets up quickly. For any other kind of gaming i´d stick with standard system (and obviously in BR i´d stick with old one, as in close range you will hipfire most of the time). Note that i play on Gameloop on a 27" screen but also have difficulties on watching enemies that far with the new setting. Anyways, great vid, props!

I love the sync ads feature. I have put all my sens up to 112 for ads and hipfire, and I am waaay more accurate than before. I am even better at sniping now. I play on my Samsung phone, and I have no problem seeing my enemies. Using a fov of 70 btw

Yeah i definitely noticed when using a sniper with it on, when moving left and right crosshair of the sniper moves the same with it on and off and with that movement+lower zoom, it makes it really hard to hit long range targets while strafing. Something to maybe take a look at that. Same thing probably as the iron sight intrusion you talked about to some extent

This could be just me but i find this sync fov setting only good on snipers (i play on phone) I've always felt that the sniper scope zoomed too much and with this on, it's just the right amount of zoom + i get that extra peripheral vision which makes hardscoping less punishing since i can flick onto people i see from the side who would otherwise be invisible with a higher zoom

Wouldn't changing sensitivities mess with ur recoil if u have fov sync or not. Because lets says both have the same sens. U have to swipe the same distance downward for both to manage the recoil. But if you increase sensitivity for fov sync to take into account for viewing angle. It would mess up ur recoil control for the same distance

Yo hawks so I want to see if I understand you so hopefully you can answer my question. So I want to use sync to fov ok? I’m obviously using 90 fov. So in order for me to get the same feeling as if I wasn’t using sync to FOV I have to lower it down by 81 or 80 fov so my sense can feel the same as if I wasn’t using that feature? Did my question made sense? I’m asking because i turned it on and my sense felt stiffer and slower.

1. There is no Muscle Memory. Mainly because Fingers dont have muscles. Apart from that, as soon as you have developed a certain filigree finesse, it can be adapted as you like. This is basic sports science. First you practice throwing the ball into the basket, then from the left, then from the right, then from further back, then from further forward. And once your brain is calibrated to do that, you don't have to train it from every different angle and distance. You can also give the person different balls of different sizes and weights and after a few practice throws they will hit just as well. 2. you again exclude 90% of the community. Phone players can't use your calculator because the "I swipe my thumb over the display" technique doesn't work for them. We have our thumbs on a spot, and have 3 maybe 4 cm to the left and to the right. If I put my 180 standard sense (which I need to be able to make 180° turns with only one swipe) into your calculator, it spits out 400+ stats for ADS/red dot/tactical. I could live with that, I just set it to 300... unfortunately I also have 300 vertically. So basically all your calculators are useless as long as you only do them for 4:3 formats.

The calculator in this video is not based on any technique, or my 180° rule from before. It’s simply mathematically scaling your input sensitivities based on the new field of view comparative to the field of view your old senses are attached to. This calculator is completely different from my old one.

If you’re a real mobile player (phone) and love 90FOV this new setting is ridiculous. The zoom is too far on 90FOV. Well then “why don’t you lower the FOV?” Trading something good to make things worse is stupid. The ONLY 90FOV players that truly benefit from the new setting are the skill issue “get better kid” iPad zombies that have been sucking the fun out of this game. There’s a reason why iPads are not allowed in tournaments.

So in the recoil section it basically is just the difference in zooming of ur screen that makes the gun travel more or less space on your screen depending on if ur sync is off or on... Hmm Interesting 🤔
