i've been a massive Hawkhead since these days, saw them with Ginger, and was at the legendary Stonehenge 84, nothing but love for the Hawks, but even I think having a Jazz genius like Ginger Baker in Hawkwind is like putting a Ferrari motor in a second hand Ford Anglia. That said, he was a total twat who, having been a member for a very short time, left to form and tour with a different band which he had the cheek to call "Ginger Baker's Hawkwind". Brock had to sue his ass, which was very expensive. Baker is one crazy sociopath (genuinely!) but he sure knows his way around a kit.
