It seems like it's late for pollen this year but I'm not really in control of it. Thanks for stopping by, Blessed Days...

It's just the extract at the moment, I have it in my frig again. I was thinking jam, and maybe a syrup for pancakes. I need to do a little more research on the amounts of Hawthorn extract to use and that kind of think. Most all the videos I have found use a much smaller amount of Hawthorn berries then I did so they make a MUCH smaller amount of syrup. Thanks for stopping by Noah...

Dave, you were ahead of me again. That makes sense to cover the vents to retain heat. Nice to have the option to open and close according to your needs. Sure looks like squash pollen - didn't seem bright enough orange for dandelions and yah that was some large legs of pollen coming in.

Glad ya stopped by Russell I was Hoping you would. Ya I think people in the chats misunderstand when I say I run winter venting after they have seem my summer.😁 I am looking forward to getting the shims built and on, I wana see how well they do. I know they are just a double feeding shims. But after the years of working my Wintering issues. Between the shelters and the shims, I Believe we may have that issue solved, Praise God it's not fun watching your bees die in the Winter from wet. Now don't get me wrong I don't mean I might or won't have losses, it's just after loosing all of them the 1st Winter I determined to fix this Winter wet issue for them. I figure if I can fix that they can do the rest. Thanks for coming by Russell, Blessed Days buddy...

I thought so to the squashes, they make good pollen? Maybe it's a good Fall pollen for them. That would be cool.😁

Seems I hear many people across the country talking about very late pollen coming in. Same for us here but I think it's mostly over now.

I noticed a beekeeper friend of mine across the county and another in central OR saying the same things. Late season pollen,😂I hope it's a good thing. Thanks for stopping by, Blessed Days...

There are 3 colors one pail orange/yellow, 1 dark orange and 1 that is light grey. The pail one looks kind of like sub but I have no idea. Have a great day Shane, Blessed Days buddy...
