The Hawks a lot of attacking, fast paced footy today....but there was still a bit too much 'grass guarding' in the second half rather than man on man footy to press the Crows. The Crows picked apart that gameplan very easily at times and scored quickly. We need to keep pressing our advantage and really crush sides when we have a big lead. Nice to get a win for Gunny's 250th. He's been fabulous ever since.coming across in 2012.

So my question is ... How many other games this season , would of ended with a different result if the 'Holding the Ball' rule was enforced the same as it suddenly seems to be being enforced for amazingly , the last 3 days ? This game is run by FOOLS .. People pay large sums of money for Memberships to watch a game thats controlled by different men at different areas of the ground, with totally different interpretations...How many times has the ball gone out of bounds , with an umpire with in a couple of metres.. nothing happens .. I'm seriously over this manufactured game .. I swear they already know whose gonna be in the Grand Final...

Yeah. The AFL have manufactured what they wanted. An end to end Basketball style of game with little to no heavy contact. The incorrect dosposal' rule has been thrown out but NOW, all of a sudden, the AFL has chosen to change an interpretation of a rule MID-SEASON!!? THE AFL HATE YOU AND YOUR LOVE OF AUSSIE RULES. They only like their game. The bruise free basketball style one they've been working on for the last twenty years. It's a man's sport where men play all around a 360° grass playing surface. NOT A GRID OF WOODEN BOARDS. The AFL hates the old style of footy. What they like is stadia filled with fans. Their so-called Big 4 teams: Carlton, Essendon, Richmond and Collingwood. Hawthorn are more successful in the last sixty years than all of those teams combined yet we are mentioned as an 'also...there's Hawthorn'. The AFL and their sponsors don't want you to understand the game. Just turn up and eat their shite food and buy their shoddy merch. It doesn't matter that the rules make no sense to new viewers of the code. Honestly, try explainomg this current version of Aussie Rules...I mean AFL to someone from another country. Aussie Rules died years ago.....AFL took over and it's awful. They dont even open the roof at Docklands when the weather is perfect. It's a code rin by idiots amd they pay no tax as they are classed as a 'charity organisation'. A multi billion dollar annual turnover for tv/radio and streaming rights and they pay not one cent in taxes. Go figure.

Adelaide play a terrible brand of football, the amount of effort needed to get the ball from one end to the other is bizarre, no wonder players get high in the kicking statistics, they kick the ball about 15 metres to each other, pathetic, the majority of players can only kick a drop punt, terrible skills, if a team can't kick long enough or accurate enough they shouldn't turn up.

@@paulkyriakopoulos3444 well, reaching the finals and getting out in the first week would be AMAZING. I would be very happy about that. It's much more than any hawthorn fan expected, we expected to be among the 3 last in the bottom of the ladder, and suddenly we're winning games, we're gaining consistency. We're not stupid to believe in being premiers this year, but yes, to see the club qualify for the finals, even if they get destroyed during the eliminatio finals, would be GREAT and much more than we had expected in the beginning of the season!
