Boys didn't look happy at the end there... lessons to be had but without everyone firing and connecting as we all might hope, still grinded out a solid win. Did Ginnivan bother to turn up for this game? He looked like he was sulking the whole game. Maybe the Wiz is stealing all of his press and he's not pleased with the lack of print ink dedicated to him? I mean, no one could shut up about his games against the Pies or the great outing against Adelaide at the 'G' and another solid match against the Eagles. I hope he finds his mojo soon because he looked totally disinterested and refused to jump, even at perfectly kicked passes. His entire demeanour was a terrible look. I know he had a hairline fracture of his fibula which kept him out for a couple of weeks but this doesn't look injury related. We need a fit and focused Jack Ginnivan to trouble opponents come September. But my real wish is for Sammy to unleash the Beast from the West, Jasper Skaife. He's made to destroy back lines and win big games with booming kicks from well outside fifty. Maybe we go with Clasher, Mabior and Skaife this weekend and see what happens down in Tassie. Gunny is still doing his thing, winning possies up the ground like he's done his entire career. Dildo(Dillon Moore) has taken on that work rate too and while Punky is the regular sub Dildo is playing that high half forward role perfectly each game. He impacts the scoreboard but also sets up lots of forward fifty entries with his great contested marking and gut running. I like Josh Ward as a direct replacement for Daysy. He kicks well and wins the hard balls in and under like Day. His major issue is his two way run isn't the best and Days is outstanding. Geez I hope Scrimma is ok. He is such an underrated player and a great fella. CARN THE MIGHTY HAWKS!! One more win and we're back playing finals. Where we belong!

Dear Sam & Sicily, Can you ask your players to go around the ground to hand over the balls to the young supporters. In the last match against Richmond and one before that at MCG, half of the ground haven't been covered by the players, most of them handed over balls near the players' exit area. Can you ask your prayers to go around and please engage with a massive crowd? They came to support & encourage them. Viseversa, by giving high fives to supporters at all part of the ground and handing the balls to the young ones, encourage them for more participation with the club. Instead of being busy taking selfie, they can do this as a must for PR of HFC, too. If you look at the last game against Tigers, our section around Richmond cheer squad, hardly see any players except 2. Thanks 🙏
