Every time I click on an old Hawthorne Heights performance and I see Casey, I can't help but tear up. They're still great without him and I love how they didn't stop because of that, but his legacy will live on and I know many kids down where I live who listen to this kind of music and don't even know who Hawthorne Heights is. It just flat out sucks because they shaped the harder music scene but just by a little well the melodic hardcore scene that is.

@Caradog now that you're mentioning Twenty One Pilots can you really think that they're not doing something deferent? They're literally taking the sound of the 10s and adding a lot of things inspired by the 90s and 2000s, people put them in the same box as emo because they're screaming in mainstream music witch didn't happen anymore when they got big, also those soundcloud rapper's are actually making rock more accessible again by either making rock themselves or talking about how much they love rock, BTW Twenty One Pilots has luckily never made lyrics as cringe as "SO CUT MY RIST AND BLACK MY EYE"

@@BrandonTownsend It was Citalopram and Clonazepam and Vicodin. He was already on the Citalopram (depression), but developed tooth pain while on tour so he went to a dentist, but didnt tell the dentist that he was on other meds. Well when you combine Citalopram and Vicoden and Clonazepam, it causes a reaction that makes your throat clamp shut. He was alone on the tour bus and took both meds and had a reacton. The other bandmates were waiting for him to show for the concert and he didn't so they went looking for him and found him dead on the bus. Really sad.
