I absolutely love two bands - underoath and alexisonfire. The songs that these bands have written and recorded are timeless. They are precise, accurate and sound great. When I become an old grandfather, I will listen to them every day, slowly dying, but getting high from them like the first time. While we are young, we do not realize the greatness of these bands, by "young" I mean people who are already over 30-40 years old. It's like iron maiden, pantera, metallica, sepultura, for our generation. These two bands left the greatest mark in history.

Underoath is what I used to call "Christian's in a band" rather than an overt Christian band. They used to play the Cornerstone music fest which was Christian. There are other Christian metal bands (For Today for example) that basically were doing a worship service at their shows.

I loved this band when I was 16, but the message was incredibly damaging and just awful. Sexuality shouldn't be shamed and it creates such unnecessary pain. Religion is a horrible plague and I can't wait until logic and truth win. To anyone reading this, don't feel guilty for having sexual desires -- they are perfectly normal and you won't go to hell for acting on them. P.S. Hell doesn't exist.
@Dajudge068 жыл бұрын
Maybe I missed the point of this song but I was more ashamed of the manner of my lost virginity rather than actually losing it. The pressure to lose it drove me to be with some I didn't like let alone love, if I had only waited a little longer I could have given it to one of the few special people I actually truly loved. I can tell you that it was th last time I let anything pressure me again to do anything, for anyone else out there to feel pressured to do it. Just wait for at least someone you love, the experience is that much more special when it's someone you love.
@FlerberGerber7 жыл бұрын
I don't give a fuck what the message is, their music is fucking badass

Marie M do some dam research. Someone in the band wrote this about himself not to someone else. Get some resources
@GameCrawler7 жыл бұрын
When Arron wrote this song he was just writing from his heart because his sexual activity was conflicting with his faith and relationship with God. Any band should write songs from the heart, whether that be a song about loving sex and sleeping with multiple girls or not wanting to have sex at all. I personally resonate with the whole theme of the album and am thankful for the message :)

Thessalonians 5:16-18 "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." Consistently Pray for forgiveness, guidance in a good (positive) direction, and for help against evil. Pray to be saved from hell (whatever that may be). Pray for your friends and your family too, it only takes a minute or so/less at a time to pray. Do it and your life will slowly get better, or maybe quickly. It probably just depends on you and the kind of person you are/have been. Don't wait until its too late and you have to suffer the consequences of built up bad karma from immoral acts/unrepented sins. Maybe together we can help make the world a better place by changing ourselves for the better, and changing things around us for the better. And addressing/thanking the CREATOR, LORD GOD at the beginning and end of your prayers would be a good idea 😊 Or just be my friend if you don't want to say the prayer 😄 I'm trying to help you get right with the LORD 🙏 Amen. I have worded a short prayer for you to say if you are not sure what words to use, it may not be the best but here it is 😊 '' CREATOR, LORD GOD, Please forgive me and my friends and my family for our immoral acts, please help guide us in a positive direction and please help us against evil. Please save us from Hell and have mercy on our souls. Thank you CREATOR, LORD GOD. Amen. '' Please say this at least once a day for at least a month, do it longer if you want to and can 🙏 You should prostrate yourself if you don't want to do spoken prayer, or do both 🙏☺ Please worship the LORD GOD and not any idol. Say ' Om Namah Shivaya ' out loud or in your head 108 times, or try to do it 1008 times 😊 try to do it everyday if you want 🙏 repeat this aloud for as long as you want to, try to do it for like an hour a day or say it in a prayer "Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner"

I'm a big fan of underoath... this performance amazes me and I hate to admit the fact that it sounds like their using autotune since it's so perfect. And for those who have a misconception of autotune- autotune isn't necessarily the T-Pain effect seen in a lot of hip hop these days. autotune's original settings allow a slight tweaking to certain flaws in the song. they TOO good... but i can be wrong :/
