Same here 1989 I'm turning 35 this coming September 24. @@roccot3872 I disagree, I think they honor him well. So many songs were dedicated to him or about him (i.e. Fragile Future). The best way BY FAR to honor him today is to have someone screaming his parts so they aren't forgotten. They do an excellent job of replicating his particular type false chord scream/tone.

@@Ryan_hey His death was bought on due to substance abuse, my guess he was abusing the benzo class drug (clonazapam) which gives the user a very calm and high affect at high doses. mixed with Vicodin which also acts on the central nervous system would make it a very nasty cocktail of drugs. doctors can and do prescribe benzodiazepines and opioids together, but at low doses. Casey’s body would of completely shut down that tragic night from abusing such potent and powerful drugs. RIP none the less.

@@roccot3872 It was an accidental overdose due to the doctor and dentist not realizing what he was on. Yes the concoction was a terrible mixture that resulted in his death, but it was not substance abuse. The band released plenty of information on this at the time.

Getting to open for them in Mississippi back in 2012 was one of the best shows I've ever played. And it was because of the show Hawthorne Heights put on. I'll never forget it.

To everyone complaining, I’m only 33, but don’t ask me to do the jumps, to run, to play how I used to when I was 15-24 bcuz my body is just not there even though I gym 5 days a week and feel great. Just the other day while at work I fell due to a 3 inch sidewalk and when I ate it, MY ENTIRE BODY WAS KILLING ME FOR DAYS😅😅😅😅😅 . They older and not as emotional that’s it, they adults now not crazy teen with ranging hormones

Dude my thoughts exactly. This is just...bad. The vocals are just...we cannot say that what he is doing is singing. I think they were a decent studio band for the first few albums, but nothing they were doing on those records were gonna be replicated live. I still love the songs, but just have to accept that they're complete shit live. This is like a middle school battle of the bands type shit...just so bad.

I think they're good. You have to remember that a lot of the verses are sung low and often spoken, so they'll come off "weaker" live than on album, but he's on point with all his notes. Choruses sound great.
