This is a phenomenal video. They never did take themselves too seriously, but there's an astounding level of maturity and wisdom throughout these interviews (particularly from Deryck) that I think younger bands could learn a lot from. As someone who grew up with this band, I'm bummed that they're calling it quits, but as they said so many times in the video, it's for all the right reasons and that makes it so much easier to just look back and appreciate what they've given us. Music, after all, lives forever, but we don't, and I'm happy they feel they're in a spot where they can hang it up on a high note. Cheers to the dudes in Sum 41, hope all you guys enjoy whatever's next! 🤘

Just saw them do their last show in Budapest tonight. I saw them for the first time ever...and for the last time. This band was one of my dearest and closest musical experiences, ever since I was 11 years old. I practically lived and breathed Sum41 during middle school and althroughout highschool but never got to see them. Tonight I did, and it was..surreal, energic, emotional, crazy, mad, it felt like home. I'm now 32 and though things changed, I felt at home seeing them live. Like seeing an old friend you missed dearely. It was weird having to keep myself from bawling my eyes when they performed "So long, goodbye". All the nostalgia came right back up and I pretty much had a lump in my throat throughout the show. Goodbye SUM FARTIE ONE. YOU'LL BE REMEMBERED AND CHERISHED FOREVER
