what the, bruh were playing this in my high school jazz band class and well its my first time playing jazz (i play alto sax aka the hardest part) and man this is so hard especially when they make us play this super fast

james wright Alto Sac is definitely not the hardest part in this piece, the piano has to learn all the different solos, and there are 2 chord progression parts where you have to improvise chords

Because Nestico was his arranger??? Basie's solo was quite close to the noted stuff anyway and this "Kendor Band is horrible"
