Supposed to have a few more cooler days on the weekend; great for hauling some more hay. Yes, Tyler is always thinking ahead to figure out ways to make a job better, or easier, and has the skills to make it happen. Macey looked real happy to be helping Dad and Callie was good company. Great video, thanks Tyler.

Hey Welder, reinforce the fenders so you can load on top of them.For that matter build them strong enough to drive over just in case you need. Weld a couple 3" c channel on back for steel up-rights, pin them in when want. Thats about 6 or more bales. Want more build a headache rack for truck with a roof protector. Needs to pin into all 4 pockets of bed for support. Another 3 or so bales. Lots of ways to haul more bales. Add onto trailer ?

I just found your channel last week and been binge watching since. I have an idea to give on the moving of the round bales. This is something we’ve done here in Missouri a lot. Load the bales on the trailer with front end loader then when you get home just roll the bales off the trailer. Make quick trips, your bales are at the barn, then you can move in the barn when time permits. That gets the bales out of the field and safe at home.
@timmattingly22502 жыл бұрын
If you were to build a three-point bale spear for the rear of your dad’s tractor, you could haul two bales from the field to your truck and trailer. Would be an easy build for you, with the welding skills you have, and save some fuel and time.

You can sit the bales on the fender you just have to weld the fender to the trailer first so they don’t bend outward and rub the tire
@sgprojectservices50542 жыл бұрын
you could build a removable frame that sets in the stake pockets of the trailer that elevates the center of the trailer over the axles and extends over the fenders to support the bales without resting on the fenders. then you would still have the benefit of low center of gravity on the rest of the trailer and when not using it for hauling hay. Just an idea.

Hey Tyler, how about stacking some pallets on top of each other over the trailer axles to create a raised deck of sorts. Six would probably do it. Then you could get two wide across the center and continue the second row stack also. Would be cheap - food for thought assuming you're not done already.
