The Hayabusa HMMY220 or 220 for short is starting to gain a bit of a following with feeder anglers.
Although possibly the least known with in the range it’s a hook that has been around for some time.
A wide gape medium wire spade end hook that seems to defy its wire gauge to its strength!
Mainly being used for feeder fishing their shape seems to help stop fish being able to eject the hook. Anglers have found them ideally suited to skimmer and bream fishing with hook baits presenting really well on them.
On the famous river Trent Riverfest qualifiers the 220 accounted for a number of Trent Barbel giving the anglers that use the 220 huge confidence in the hooks ability not to straighten out.
If you’ve not tried the 220 give them ago
