Hayabusa Crank balance shaft adjustment

Depending on where your shaft is referenced this can decrease felt vibrations at cruising rpms .

Many models have them Kawaski zx11 zzr1200 , zrx 1100 and 1200 , zx14 has two of them .

Well presented vid on this subject Bryan, it's inspired me to have a play with my shaft lol. In saying that, I've never had a vibration problem that I've felt needs to be addressed, so maybe I'll just leave it alone . . . thanks for taking the time to make and post this video. Kiwi.

Somethings are better left alone. I have had four of these and I have never had any vibration problems. On one of my 2012’s with 1441cc I even took the balancer out for quicker acceleration.

Excellent video, I think ir Is the only one on this topic...Un muy case I notice vibrations and noise when releasing the acelerador, like a rattle...There is an accesory to renové the balancer shaft completely, but it must be completely disassembled the engine...I thought this adjustment was only made when the motor was completely disassembled...

I'm not sure it will help a Noise , but it did smooth out vibrations

@@bryanlarrimer138 Thanks I just acquired a 1250 Bandit. First bike in many Years, I spotted this adjuster whilst servicing the thing and thought balance shaft to myself. You have thankfully answered this for me. I couldn't locate any description of it when searching 1250 Bandit. Your A Star Sir
