I'd date a Yandere, but it depends on where the crazy is coming from. Some people can be helped, like if the manic love stems from a fear or abandonment, but some people can't.. like if they're just an extreme sadist or sociopath.

Little less going on in this when compared to the second game, but it's still nice to see more of Hayami-Chan. She's raking up that body count, and I quite like the ending where the main character's parents just get caught up in it because the TV was left running. In a morbid way, it's funny imagining everyone who comes to investigate what's going on just also falls under the anime's control until you've got this doomed conga line of viewers.

Honestly, I kinda wonder what the anime even is, or what it's like. For me, I always just imagined it wasn't real and to everyone not afflicted by Hayami-Chan it would just be a static screen or something, and the anime not actually existing. But obviously the 2nd game threw a wrench into that idea, and this one even further. R.I.P. I kinda just found that idea to be hilarious, like "Hey man, what anime you watching?" "Oh! Hayami-Chan! It's pretty good right?" *Static screen* "Umm... Y-Yeah... It's great..."

If there is like another Hayami game, maybe the writer could explore message boards and communities that focus on lost media and discussing reasonable explanations for paranormal phenomena. Like, I dunno, maybe they are working out a system where people are only watching one episode, documenting what happened in it and posting the summary online, so others don't have to watch it. The player then may be one of the message board member who has experience with image and video editting and watches the same episode over and over, taking it apart frame by frame, to make sure whether there aren't any subliminal messages or creepypasta cliche frames showing dead bodies hidden in the footage. And then obviously, the more the person watches the footage the more insane he grows (as is the staple mechanic of this game series) and probably even falls victim to the temptation of watching other episodes, despite the strict rules of the message board community and the clear warnings. Like, if there was an actual cursed piece of media linked to mandy deaths and it was readily available online, you know there'd be plenty of communities all over that shit, whether they believe in supernatural forces or conspiracies or interesting coincidences with plausible correlations to explain them.
