I had 3 candles to make on my main farm. I had to get up early make the bees wax then put the candles I did have to use diamond which was not worth it. This event is not fear to everyone it is not right.

Not only is this event difficult with all the jams and juices It is included with derby, valley, and farm pass tasks. Too much!

Yes agree. All these extra events interfere with out normal farming duties. Overall, the farm does suffer.

Just when you think this Event can’t get worse, it does! The most work I’ve had to do for the least amount of points ever. Have had now 2 days of 23 hours a day production, and I rushed 3, just to get done. This is more than a job, jobs at most are 12 hour shifts. Haven’t seen task above 200 points yet. Liked to see game developers do this without using tons of diamonds!

Personally the 1st version of this event was the best. Since thy started making changes to this event, It's not fun any more.

Love the concept of a “themed” task event. The decos and permits are great. Im calling this a jam task event. Don’t love (putting that mildly) the complete overhaul of jams/juices/candles tasks. Not sure if they knew this would happen for most people I have seen, or they knew and want people to spend diamonds. Any task that takes over 24 hours should not be on the board at all, like candy tasks. This event is to aim for players to achieve a goal in game, for the environment in real life. But at what cost? Many are unhappy with this.

Good statement. "for the environment in real life" does carry a cost. Stressed out is what many farmers are over the direction that these tasks events have taken.

I've been playing for almost two years now and this is the first season that I'm not having any fun. I'm fortunate to have always had some some discretionary income, and I'm a deco hound, so do treat myself often to deco/diamond packs, buying boosters and such. I enjoyed the deco collection book at the beginning. This time around it's a hard no for me spending any diamonds, or money, on the sheer principle. It's a slap in the face to players who can't pay and I'll stand with them 😢

I had 3 ice creams to make yesterday and 2 jams...this has to be the WORSE event ever. I remember the days when Hay Day use to be a relaxing game. Phoebe I totally agree with everything you said!!!

I remember when HD was fun. I refuse to spend diamonds on the events or pay for the sticker book. I can’t stand the leaderboard. Often many of the rewards aren’t worth the stress. The task situation on this event is ridiculous. And I’ve given up trying to find fish shops in the current valley. Thanks for another great video Phoebe.

Phoebe I had 5 jams the very 1st day and I deleted 3 of them cause they were only 80 pts not worth waiting 2 days

I'm not doing the task event.. I started then the Leaderboard came up and I stopped.. I hate the leaderboard, takes forever to make 3 or 4 different jams & juices in a day and they have that annoying kid behind you telling you how far you dropped every 5 minutes drives me nuts. 3 Blackberry jam 8hrs each, 3 apple jam 5 hrs each, 3 cherry jam 5 hrs 57 minutes not sure how many hours hay day crew have in a day but my world is still only 24.. Not worth it for me.. Not gonna finish the sticker book anyway cause they are holding some decorations hostage making us buy the decorations.. I prefer to eat this month and possibly pay my mortgage.. $50 - $70 per page in the book, is asking a lot from people I think..

Difficult to find help tasks

I think the word "Jam" in the event was taken too literally. Repeat jam tasks daily are "jamming" up my progress. LOL Multiples on the same machines. Where are all the other plant based products we could be tasked with? Why does it seem to be the same 15 or so products? Jams, juices, candles, popcorn, soaps/lotion, candy. Soaps and sugar are not what come to mind when I think of plant based recipes. I think I'm going through a mid life crisis! 😬

This event and others like it are no longer “fun” and more like having a “job”. I have always been excited about doing these events to get a new deco & always strived to finish without spending diamonds. I WILL NOT spend diamonds to get a ‘recycled” deco (realizing that the decos are not recycled for everyone) but in my case even trying to finish the event is not a priority any longer only to get something that I may have already paid for once. Clearly the person(s) in charge of these events recently needs to revisit their thought process and make a better, more informed decision.
