I saw episodes 2 and 3 in the theater at midnight with my parents, who both grew up with the originals. I always remembered hearing whispers of people not liking them, but I absolutely could not have cared less about what other people thought when I was a child. I wonder if people who’s parents weren’t also into Star Wars had a different experience.

I really don’t understand the hate for the prequels. These took their contempt way too far and was sometimes way uncalled for. I mean the way some treated Moses Ingram. I started my Star Wars Journey with Episode 1, and Anakin Skywalker in Episode 3 is my favourite character in Star Wars. I was always so devastated by his fall to the dark side, and however much I'm sad we won't see Anakin as he was, I'm so glad to see Ewan and Hayden back.

Would love to see Hayden and Ewan in more of these projects. Im especially happy for Hayden because many were very harsh on him for the prequels. Personally, I loved how he shaped, moulded, and executed Anakin and Darth Vader. He was superb, no doubt about it. George Lucas had a keen eye and insight with Hayden. Best move ever. I remember watching Revenge of the Sith as a kid, and being on the verge of tears for the majority of the film…. Because I knew Anakin would become Vader. Hayden did an amazing job of expressing the pain inside Anakin, ultimately being motivated by the fear of losing his loved ones. I’m so excited about this return!!!

Hayden has referenced talking about knowing the character very well, exciting to go back to this/these characters. Yes that could very well man Vader. I believe we are going to get the clone wars flashbacks, as speculated. I sure hope so. Vader VS Obi is awesome and welcome. Anaking WITH Obi is my friggen childhood and ill probs cry with no shame. I'm from the first star wars era. I was 12 years old when I saw it. I have seen ALL of them including the prequel. So has my family and my 4 kids, now adults. We LOVE all of them INCLUDING the prequel, which was highly anticipated and we were ecstatic to see them. It used to piss me off to hear complainers doing what they do best. the general public WILL watch no matter what if they REALLY want to. This remains a MUCH loved franchise which Ewan and Hayden will forever be a part of, and we loved them in it( one of my daughters STILL has a major crush on Hayden 🤗).

Their Star Wars movies are the ones I saw the most growing up. We owned all of the prequels and OT on DVD but the TPM came out the same year I was born and the others in such an early point in my life that they are the ones I clung to as a child. They are still my favorites and I’m so happy to see these guys come back. I owe them a huge debt for making my childhood pretty damn magical.

I'm in a weird spot where I grew up from a child till 13 yrs old with the Original Trilogy either on TV or VHS and then the resurgence of excitement over the franchise and hype initially surrounding the Special Edition releases in 1997, then in 99 new ones came out, and I sort of "grew up" with those too. I'm in that strange middle spot where both are nostalgic for me.

Same. I was 10 when I discovered Star War OT and watched them when they would come on TV. I would obsess over them and watch them intently. I never owned them because nobody else really got it in my household when I was that young. Then Actually grew up with the prequels in theaters And my little brothers were the perfect age for the prequel’s. So the prequel just cemented my love for Star Wars. I will always have more of a soft spot for OT, but I have always absolutely loved the prequels and ALL of Clone Wars and Rebels!

It isn't possible to say in simple words how INCREDIBLE it is to me to see this new insert into the world of star wars. I saw first film in cinema and was SO blown away by the concept, the effects- which were ground breaking of course - the REALITY of that universe. Never forgotten, never not loved from then on. Like most fans, never want it to end. Fir me only sad thing is the romance between Anakin and Padame was so brief! Wish there had been more time for them to just be in love before it all went wrong!

I hope this show opens the door for the prequels to be more relevant again. I think Disney was like "fine, let's try it" at first, and now they're gonna see how our generation actually loves the prequels so much! There's flaws in both the original trilogy and the prequels, and hindsight is 20/20 for both of them. There's cringe in either, but it's the kind of endearing from-the-heart stuff that you can't help but marvel at. There was something innocent but deep about George's films. I hope he met with the cast of Kenobi like he did in the Mandalorian.

At the time I was like 4-5 when I first saw Episode 3. That was in 2007-2008. I was fascinated by that film. It was soooo good I watched every scene like 50 times one by one. My favourite being "Destroyers!" The sound effects of the droidekas and the way they looked...still hypes me up. I didn't really care about the plot or the emotions behind all of it, I just cared about the visuals, but since I was a little kid, When I thing of Star Wars, I think of Hayden and Ewan.
