​@@jameszorn9309 did you ever end up getting your message through to Alison, or to hear back from her buddy? I realize that those two comments that you posted are from five long years ago and all... But I only just now saw them. And I'm not at all sure the reason that you had when choosing, or trying to get her attention by putting your message up, here in the Hayden video comments section. Regardless, just reading it late tonight put a pretty sad picture into my head. Almost like I could feel your desperation and loss. Damn good taste in music you guys must have had, either way. So if you're still out there, I just wanted to say "hello", and tell you that whether or not you ever did find her again, those five years ago, and if so, no matter if she is now still in your life or long gone, I just really hope that everything worked out for you in the end. And that you are now five years older, but happy and well today. :) Hang in there my friend.

I adore the National, and I saw Hayden at a bar that held about 20 people back when I was a kid.I think Hayden wins this battle though. It's pretty amazing that so much melody could come out of one old six string. Amazing.
