Where you been son? Missed ya! You're right. Our state is beautiful isn't it. Absolutely incredible footage starting at 10:09. That hillside lit up in the red hughs of the sun is absolutely beautiful. I particularly like the way you slow down the video. Watching the reel do it's thing at that speed is so cool. The dust drifting off so slowly in the sun is so captivating. I swear I can smell the combine dust coming out of my phone. The footage at 11:00 of your mom unloading on the go with everything happening in slow motion is so awesome. The tires turning slow, the grain coming out of spout into the cart looks so cool. The scenery in the backround is gorgeous. I'm sure your videos are a treat for people who have never experienced the joy and fun of wheat harvesting. Keep the videos coming. You all stay safe out there! Oh, and your mom is pretty cool too!

Where the yield is higher it also could be better soil where as the other stuff is lighter more sandy soil. But I’m just guessing cause I’m not in the field.

Great video of the harvest season getting underway. North Dakota definitely has some beautiful countryside views with the rolling hills! I've always enjoyed farming especially being part of the operation side of it. Today's farm equipment is so modern and advanced with technology and design. The John Deere line to me is the CADILLAC of equipment! Thanks for sharing your videos with us along with your PRICELESS time and effort Hayden! I'm a new subscriber of your channel and will watch the other videos plus look fwd to seeing the next ones. Cheers from Laurel, Delaware USA.

This is what people refer to as wide open spaces. No smog here. No city lights, stars as many as you can count. Can you just imagine 250 years ago. Buffalo and why the native Americans refereed this to sacred ground. I loved the rolling hills and a tree here or there for just no reason.

if you take those white crop dividers off for wheat, barley crops then you don,t push the crop over. Use those dividers for canola crops that are tangled together. I have swathed 10,s of thousands of acres and always took them off for wheat, barley, oats and the like. You will get a cleaner cut.

Probably the most inefficient industry I've ever been involved with...as a Canadian harvester said, the show comes first...maybe one I'll revolutionise it?(i could do the same work with 1 truck, as the 10 our company ran). Good to see it all again...regards from Scotland!

Very cool video. Interesting fact. The Maxxim trailers have TecNiq lights, that are manufactured in Michigan. They have a lifetime warranty. I am the “manufacturing representative” for TecNiq, in Mexico, Central and South America. That means that the hopper that you have, put just a little bit of food on the table for my family.

Interesting you always go counterclockwise around the field with the headlands. Isn’t it more advantageous if the auger points towards already harvested land? Maybe it’s a special Texan thing to do 🤔
@HarvestChic4 ай бұрын
@smockfarmer ….we prefer to go counter clockwise because all of our monitors are on our right side & we are usually cutting very close to fences & need to watch the header & this way we can watch both header & monitors. It’s just personal preference….we have opened up a field with the auger out before, just feels left handed lol
