Haydn Symphony # 6 Double Bass solo (mov 3)

A performance and tutorial on FJ Haydn's Symphony # 6 "Le Matin" double bass solo in the third movement. This is the first of a trilogy by Haydn of symphony's # 6, 7 and 8 all of which have double bass solos in their third movements. Performed by Barry Lieberman, former Assistant Principal bass of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and currently the professor of double bass at the University of Washington in Seattle. Performed on a 17th century Maggini, bow by Reid Hudson of Victoria Canada.

What strings do you use - you have a great sound!

Thanks for your comments. I use Pirastro Passione "medium" not "stark" I also use their solo strings when needed.
