Wunderschöne Interpretation dieser perfekt komponierten Sinfonie mit seidigen Tönen aller Streicher und milden Tönen aller Bläser. Der zweite Satz klingt besonders schön und echt lyrisch. Im Kontrast klingt der letzte Satz echt lebhaft und auch begeisternd. Der intlligente und erfahrene Dirigent leitet das ausgezeichnete Kammerorchester im lebhaften Tempo und mit perfekt kontrollierter Dynamik. Wundervoll vom Anfang bis zum Ende!

Symphonies 6, 7, and 8 really should be considered like a triptych or trilogy; they are different but no one can really be considered ‘…better’ than any of the other two; personal favourites is an entirely different thing if that’s the sort of thing you wish to do. I suggest you search Haydnsaal ceiling Eisenstadt; I think you will find that to try to rank the three symphonies is as pointless as trying to rank the three paintings which depict ‘Le Matin’, ‘Le Midi’, and ‘Le Soir’; it was clearly from these ceiling paintings that the idea for the three symphonies originated.

An entirely meaningless pun outside the US where alone the word is pronounced like ‘ba-roke’ (broke/broken). In the rest of the English-speaking world, the word Baroque is pronounced much more in line with its Italian origin (barocco) and other European languages such as French and German which are almost identical to the English (UK) pronunciation.
