I love running kee berry with comfey with max hp max defense. I usually set up 3 calm minds and with a defense boost it tanks everything. Draining kiss, giga drain, and tera blast ground for coverage, after it sets up, it's jover. Love this little menace, causes so many rage quits

Comfey is also an incredible white mage in double battles, it can be a decent wall and has attacks that heals its teammates ignoring it will result in a bad team

comfey with full healing moveset is super fun, you wouldn't even need investment in speed bc you'd always outspeed your opponent all because of triage.

Comfey is SOOOO broken! During the blueberry epilogue tournament, I was against one, with a tailwind up and was so confused how if comfey was able to out speed my speed boost blaziken, and he kept healing his excadrill. Super annoying to go against in doubles

I used it in trick room with drampa and draining kissed drampa with weakness policy and beserk and hypervoiced everything and priority healed drampa XD. I remember some JP people rage quitting.

I agree Comfey is extremely slept on. It can also be good in double battles with Floral Healing support. As well running Flower Veil as an ability can also be helpful potentially but generally, Triage is prob the best ability to run whether you’re planning to use comfey in singles or doubles

Extremely minor heads up, but noticed in the pokepaste that Hitmonchan is listed as having Keen Eye, not Iron Fist. Was looking to see if you were running Jolly or Adamant on Flygon and noticed. Good stuff as always. Edit: Also something I've always appreciated about your commentary is you don't whinge about hax or, in this case, an opponent bringing banned moves and Ubers... lol. I haven't done any online battles since the Indigo Disk came out since I want to finish more builds for the new Pokémon first. But with all the returning legendaries, how bad is it with legendary spammers rn? Sure, I could just use only the strongest Pokémon myself, but where's the fun in that? I subbed to your channel since you highlight a lot of underappreciated mons, but you seem to have a lot of luck with your opponents since they mostly use "reasonable" teams. Also, how do you change the arena you're fighting in? 😅

Probably would have made more sense to Draining Kiss Cyclizar the first time because, if it lived, that would have made Shed Tail fail and wasted its turn anyway. If it died, that's one less pokemon and the 1v1 with Flutter Mane still would have gone your way. I wonder if Growth Comfey is viable in VGC. Pair it with Decorate Alcremie and you could have some devastating Stored Powers in 3 turns + Draining Kiss shenanigans.

@@dylanangsengsiatsass2688 Well yeah, you definitely would because if you can OHKO stuff with a +3 priority attack you don't really have to worry about getting hit in the first place. Also every sun-boosted growth adds 80 BP to Stored Power whereas Calm Mind only adds 40.
