This would have been perfect if only it had 3 more windows. 1 curbside for the front bed. 1 in the door and 1 for the bottom bunk. Windows really open up a smaller rv to feel bigger. And i like being able to see out. Oh well the search continues. Thank you for all of these video's. They help a lot.

How do these new refrigerators work? Pros? Cons?

So far we've been happy with them. As with anything time will tell. That being said several HIGH volume brands have swapped to them (Cherokee now uses them standard like Wildwood you see here). BIG volume brands like that will not use unproven components in their RVs because the risk to their success as a brand is just too high. When I see multiple major brands using the same thing it's a strong indicator of something good. The obvious benefit is the larger size. It's roughly 2/3's larger than a 6cu ft gas/elec absorption fridge of the same size. Something less obvious is the fact that they cool down REALLY freaking fast. We're only about 50min-1hr from most of the RV shipping yards and these things come in ICE COLD every time. Also easily overlooked: No sidewall vents required which means two fewer places for potential leaks. At a glance they're not as off-grid friendly as someone might like, but anyone camping off-grid is likely going to use two batteries and a portable solar panel which is all that's required to run this fridge indefinitely. It's common power draw is only 3amps (which is surprisingly low) The only real con is the lack of backup power. That being said it just really doesn't tend to need it.

Oooo... Me Likey! This is giving the GEO/PRO (like the 1 behind it) a run for it’s money as my 1st RV/trailer! However I’m not a fan of the darker (brown) decor (do they offer a lighter option?), nor the the aluminum siding look (pros/cons?). 😔 I also don’t need bunks, although I could use them for plenty of storage; what’s the comprable non-BH model for this (video link?)? All Wildwoods are Short Queens. True Queen murphy beds are hard to find, though we have them available in Passport and Select Winnebago & Rockwood models.

It should be noted that a LOT of the non-murphy Wildwood models are true queen capable. Also, there's nothing that says you couldn't swap to a true queen in this camper & simply ignore the murphy portion of it.

@@streetclasscc5189 There are different benefits and drawsback to fully gluing vs. perimeter gluing flooring. * Full Glue helps prevent cold cracking while stored in very cold weather areas (like those polar vortex winters we were getting up here) * Perimeter Glue prevents flooring bubbles occurring due to off-gassing of flooring materials Newer floor coverings like Beaufloor, Diamondflor, Congoleum, etc have become *vastly* more cold crack resistant so some brands are sticking with perimeter glue-only to prevent bubbling while letting the flooring handle the task of dealing with the cold -- which seems to be working quite well. Again, there are benefits both ways. Perimeter glue flooring has become the most common method in "stick and tin" conventionally constructed units like these while glued flooring seems to still be more common in laminated flooring.

Will adult size kids fit on these bunks?

Obviously depends on the size of the adult. Bunks are almost all a "camp queen" length (around 72-74" commonly). Double bunks are nice because you can sleep cross-wise. Also, most people tend to sleep on their sides curled, so the length is usually not an issue.

@@courtneyburns2833 All travel trailers in this class/category we carry at Haylett RV are using Lumbercore cabinet styles. Wildwood and Cherokee use double stapled fasteners that work very well. We do not have cabinet issues from them. Jay Flight and Catalina use pocket screws.

Hi Josh, hope you and your family are doing well. I'm torn b/w this vs the Grey Wolf 22MKSE. Are they pretty much the same minus the enclosed under belly, outdoor grill and width? Any pros/cons you can think of b/w the 2 off the top of your head? Thank you.

This and the 22MKSE are definitely head-to-head. They're FAR more similar than different when you're obviously picking up upon already. A few points for you: * Neither has an enclosed belly, but they both protect the water lines (different methods, but same result) * Both are 8ft wide and 6'6" interior Beyond that it's really a toss-up and boils down largely to fine details and visual elements. * I like the Wildwood's Camp Kitchen with the griddle (*AWESOME!*), but I love the grey wolf's storage and cargo rack * Wildwood's strongarm jacks = WINNING * Grey Wolf's black stainless Sink and solid cover = WINNING * Wildwood's Murphy Bed is much MUCH more my speed * Wildwood's bedside storage pockets in the closets are neat in my view as well * Grey Wolf has a basic (but useful) tech package that allows you to sync a few features to your phone (and easily!) -- Hello remote control power awning and patio lights!! * I like Wildwood's roller shades as well -- serious blackout! * But Greywolf has that bigger bath vent fan It's tough. I guess the question is "which RV has the 3 different features you like better?" We like them both. That's why we carry them. They're REALLY close and both REALLY good. Propane. Could theoretically be removed, but built with the intention of staying mounted. Basically... think of it like a kitchen drawer, but instead of a drawer it's a griddle. You can essentially just "pull the drawer out"

If you're seeing one priced higher/lower than the others it's a reflection of the pricing set by those dealerships & not the brand itself. I hate how they make changes to these things in the same model year. I just bought a 2020 yesterday and now they improve the exterior color, make a shower surround panel standard, add black tank flush and a small storage area under the bunks. Oh, and improve the dinette. Frustrating.
