I've owned a couple of travel trailers and still have one the things I've learned over the years from you and other you tube people is alot. In my opinion people look to much on how it looks inside and outside how is the furniture or the layout. But forget to look at the most important things. How is the running gear , is the plumbing good , what kind of frame does it have , what kind of ac is it. The slide out mechanism. All the important stuff that keeps you rving. Those are the things I'm looking for these day's. Not many reviewers are talking about the plumbing while they are the one that maby can change the manufacturer to change things in that department. Sorry for the rant lol . Love your videos thanks for all you thought me over the years

They don’t survive on the tongue with any cold temps. Is there a possibility of purchasing a sturdy storage unit for the tongue? I’ll but it (in black so it sort of disappears/camoflouges). @JoshtheRVNerd17 сағат бұрын
That’s one of the tricky things about RV design. It’s tough to have different size holding tanks for different models coming from the same factory. So we had to essentially have everything standardized to one size and on some floor plants it ends up looking a little odd.

Josh, I noticed the 'Go Explore' thing, but didn't think to say something. I love the name. Of the ones in this video, I liked the first (X225) the most, as I am a solo camper. The 3 things I would like to see though are, a front window, the door skin not be made out of glass, and a no slide out model. Although, if I did get one with a slide, this would be the one. I love all the other changes I saw. I hope this helps. I love that, as a fellow camper yourself, you are combining the things you would like with the these we would like. I love your videos, and still wish the was a Bish's in eastern Missouri or southern Illinois.
@JoshtheRVNerdКүн бұрын
We are looking at a variety of layouts. Some no-slide options have been discussed but we haven't yet found "the one" we want to hang our hat on quite yet We have actively looked against front windshields though. The idea again being "engineer the warranty out of the RV." Windshields look great but most of our lineup will be private front bedrooms where windshields make very little sense and offer a huge "hole in the wall" from a heating and cooling standpoint We are looking at a great Front Kitchen layout that that likely WILL have a front windshield as it makes a lot of sense there

Love what your trying to do! So, OK, here are my generic check boxes that your not already hitting. Rear Cargo Door (preferably full height). Guarantee the correct plumbing fittings are being used! Have at least 1 window in each direction. Go big on A/C. Struts Everywhere! Helper lighting, (steps, key lock, storage compartment, etc). Vent less floor. Inverter/solar standard. Roof access. TPMS / Sway standard. NO short beds. Usable slides in transit. Windows in slides. Large windows on camp side, (No porthole kitchen window,) Multi-use space (Ember bunk house comes to mind)! And here is the million dollar idea the no one does, (you can send me the check later.) Make the shower double as travel storage! Mold the shower stalls with edges that support removable shelves, hanging clothing rod, etc! BONUS: Exterior color patterns and branding are always terrible! We would love to have color options that match our rigs!

Quite an upgrade from the stick and tins. A couple of things: get a better shower door/ slide, etc.. Get away from the double post table with something that can be lowered and not a knee knocker. Where are you at in regard to an outdoor kitchen?
@JoshtheRVNerd8 сағат бұрын
We can’t get clarity from enough people consistently on camp kitchens to really build out heavily for them. So on some models where you might expect the camp kitchen, we may have a little bit of outdoor storage, a refrigerator, and a grill hook up so you can bring whatever you like. But there are so many people who just adamantly don’t want a full on camp kitchen That we don’t want to build the dollars into them that it takes when a lot of people don’t go for them. It’s just tricky like that when we can’t get consistent answers.

Beautiful interior! The bed area is fantastic in the look and storage. So many little touches and things you never know you needed. Give the guy who came up with the outdoor towel holder a raise! And if he was the one who came up with the outdoor dog bowl holder, double that raise! Usually the one setting the standards have no or limited experience with it. I learned all about what real handicapped accessible means to people who needed it. I could easily see when no one in a wheelchair had any input. Obviously, these guys not only had the experience, but leaned on others to get different visions. And it shows. When can we expect the full reviews of the line? Look out Ember. Go is movin on up!

Hello Josh, amazing! I look forward to seeing more details about the floor plans and see if there is something that fits our needs. I very much like your approach to designing and building something that has better quality! One request, if you can consider it: We've had one RV where the dinette bench had an outside door as well as the access from the inside. This was so great when loading/unloading the RV, or when grocery shopping! It meant that instead of having to run in and out, one person could feed the bench from the outside while another was unloading it from inside (or vice versa). That was such a useful feature, and I would love to see it again. I'd love to see this feature in your trailers!

I also really like the televator giving a better TV viewing angle!

You bet! I think it's fair people know the full story behind these

Looks good the only thing I could see it better was to have a hitch for a bike carrier.
@JoshtheRVNerdКүн бұрын
That was discussed but it completely changes the chassis setup. As a result a simple hitch was going to cost FAR more than it should've It's was a constant dance between function and cost. We included all the nice features we could be sometimes the cost vectors were just out of line for what made sense.

We love the finishes on this! Will we see a floorplan like the GoPlay 20MB? The love child of these would be the golden egg our family has been looking for! (Upgrading from a Forest River 2014 R-Pod 172)

Intriguing. Looking forward to more details on the full lineup, and more in-depth model videos.

I’d love to see a no slide option. Honestly I’d love to see all of this in the Jayco 274 plan. So hard to find and so great as a layout for families!

All the best to you and the gang on this venture Josh. Looks like a great line up and pricing seems very good also. This just may be what the market needs right now. Thanks for all you do.

Josh these are freaking amazing 🤩. Especially the first and third one which I enjoyed. On the second one I would definitely move that TV to where it wasn’t a neck breaker. But overall, these things are absolutely perfect. Can’t wait to see them Josh. Really looking forward to the ones with private rooms. That’s the ones I really lean towards. Also, I would love to see the stinky slinky keeper tube angled downward a bit. I keep on seeing all these nightmare stories of the tube coming open and the stinky slinky making its way out and onto the roads. Many times without ever seeing it again lol. Keep Rockin it Josh.

Can you give us a more indepth video and info on your new rigs? Tank size length suspension, etc. You're the best 👌

Full videos on each individual layout are coming with all that info I usually provide

The X203 is very similar to our 22RBS. We love the King bed we have and the greyish color cabinets. If only the L counter was a little shorter we would have complete road access. In the 22RBS i've looked at changing the angle of the sink and moving it back a little. Allowing for easier reach to the cabinets above the sink and a shorter bar counter to give us access to the bed in road mode. Not sure how this relates to the X203 but something to look at.

Yeah very similar layout concept overall. You have some excellent input here. There are some items where consumer feedback "infights" a bit and it wasn't always easy to decide the "better of the two" options

I love what you and Bish's are doing with Go Explore. When do you think more floor plans will be introduced? I am particularly interested in a private bedroom model. Thanks for all your hard work for us RVers.

I like the colors inside and out. I want an outdoor kitchen though, one that holds my camp chef 2 burner.

Hey Josh, love your videos, watch almost everyday, we just recently bought a cougar 23mle and love it also, we have seen your video on it, and helped in our decision, so thanks. So my idea on not just this rv but all rv’s is to put an outside tv hanger on the inside of the front pass through storage, so when you flip the door up, the hanger is on the door, cable hookup is right below, just need something stronger than a magnet to hold the door up with a tv on it, and your not putting more holes in the rv where you could get leaks in the living area, this would work perfectly on our 23mle because it’s under the awning also, again love your videos 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Really nice Josh. I love the extra touches. One thing I would do differently though, is to get rid of the knee knocker dinette table setup.
@JoshtheRVNerdКүн бұрын
They actually brought me in for a lot of input on these. I didn't get my way on everything (which is okay) and that's one fight I lost. But I did get to apply a LOT of feedback thru the process
@EricGeasonКүн бұрын
@@JoshtheRVNerd you did a great job! The option is always there to just take out the dinette and store the top, and put in a small folding free standing table as well.
